FAST willy will have great numbers and the coaching staff want to give him 3rd down and keep him in there unless he is tired, sounds like a monster year is in store for parker . now big ben is also healthy and they want to spend the field to open lanes for parker. ill take him there will you?

Non PPR, I'd take him 5th.

Not sure who you want? Try Auction Drafting - you get who you want and won't waste time with silly WFP guessing? He's really only worth about $65 in a $250 league..

:pickle:

whatever it is defintely not a good start. I don't think I feel great about any picks that dont equal SJAX or LT this year. This year there are a ton of ?'s. I might actually consider Westbrook before Parker especially if you get any sort of points for receptions.

FWP had a career year last year thanks to TDs that he will not see this year. Also, if he gets 3rd down opportunities too, expect an injury based of more touches. His frame is not made to take as many hits as a LJ or SA.

FWP is a solid RB in a good system. I don't think last year was a career year for him. He is still in his prime.

One of the safer early RB picks available imho.

The knocks people bring up about him seem like reaching to me. I have been looking closely for dents/worries in his game for months now. Cannot find much negative about him honestly.

TDS he wont see this year WOW, DUDE CAN I USE YOUR CRYSTAL BALL !!!!!!!!!

New coaching staff.

There is no guarantee that this coaching staff uses him the same way or that they allow him goaline carries the same way Cowher did.

Pass.

a quote from the coaching staff was why would we take out 1 of our best players unless he takes himself out,,,,enough said he will dominate again this year

With LJ holding out and even when he does return the QB play, decline in O Line. I think I may end up taking Willie at #3 overall.

:loco: Anyone who expects top 5 numbers out of FWP will be sorely dissapointed.

Yeah, SA is really holding up nicely (I know he's much older). Also, FWP is built more like a certain player named LT, and he seems fairly durable.

Plus his nickname is FAST Willie Parker. You can't hit what you can't catch. :goodposting:

So now getting more projected touches is a bad thing? Whatever.I'm not saying I'd take him 3rd, but Parker is the safest 1st round RB other than LT and Jackson, IMO.

You guys are borderline insane if you take FWP 5th. After a career year, coaching frame and as someone mentioned above a tiny frame there is no way I would risk my chances on that.

God I'm loving all of the doubters on here. I am beginning to believe I can get FWP AND Henry drafting out of the 9-hole.

Westbrook scored more points in most leagues last year. I would be suprised to see him taken before Westy in my league. Did Parker not have a career and a coaching staff change and his knee is swelling. How does he come with no risk?

Henry may be going before Parker with all of the hype going on. I bet Henry's ADP will be around 10 in a few weeks.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is closer to 5-6. Henry is getting some serious hype as everyone is projecting him to be the workhorse in Denver. If he is, he'll probably be worth a top pick. It's been a long time since Denver gave the ball to one back, though.

I have spent many years trying to grab the Denver RB situation and I fail every year. So I'm done since it appears to be fools gold. Some guys is going to take one of the denver backups in round 10 and get the real rb.

Clinton Portis 2002 & 2003 down?Henry's the most talented back they've had since Portis was traded and there is no reason to think he won't carry the load. Do people honestly think Mike Bell, who couldn't beat out Tatem, will take carries away from Henry? Unless Henry falls off the wagon again the job is his and he'll be a stud in Denver.Henry>FWP in 2007
