Drop Peterson? (1 Viewer)

I had been stashing Adrian Peterson on the IR slot in our PPR league for the last few weeks in the off chance he actually suits up in weeks 12 or beyond.  With the start the Vikings have had, it doesn't look like they would be in a rush to get him back but you never know.  Dion Lewis is on the FA list and I'm considering switching AP out for him.  Thoughts?  My team is as follows:

• QB - Brees, Wentz
  
• RB - Bell, Gurley, Martin, Riddick, Peterson (IR)
  
• WR - Fitzgerald, D.Thomas, DJax, Fuller, Coleman (IR)
  
• TE - Olsen, Bennett
  
• K - Tucker
  
• DEF - Minn, Houston

IMO Lewis has a much better shot at producing this year than AP, though we still don't know much about Lewis at the moment.

You also have to remember how bad AP was before he got hurt. Certainly no guarantee he'll be any better after returning from injury.

*I will add that I have not seen any updates on AP recently so if there has been positive news I'm not aware of it.

I kind of think AP and Lewis are in the same boat.  Lewis has had two separate knee surgeries and I have not seen anything on his current health or how things are progressing.  I would also think the Pats could hold him out longer as they will be cruising to another division title and don't need to rush him back either.  It's a coin flip at this point as I don't think either guy will have much of an impact this year.
