COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Police in South Carolina are investigating the theft of jewelry from Pittsburgh Steeler Duce Staley.

The Steelers running back was in an altercation at a gentleman's club called "Studio 54" in Columbia Saturday night.

During the scuffle, Staley lost about $100,000 worth of jewelry.

No one was hurt, and no one was arrested.

Police were not called at the time of the fight.

Anyone know if they got their rings yet? That would suck if he got his and had it lifted already.

Michael Hasch, of the Tribune-Review, reports Pittsburgh Steelers RB Duce Staley told authorities that jewelry worth $100,000 was stolen from him during a scuffle at the entrance to a gentlemen's club near his home in South Carolina. There were no reported injuries in the incident that occurred around 4 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Studio 54. Staley told sheriff's investigators that a platinum bracelet and two earrings were torn off him during the confrontation.
