Despite transitioning to a new team and offense, QB Kyle McCord (@kylemccord16) is proving to be the same productive quarterback for @CuseFootball so far this year.

👀He’s showcasing even more NFL potential with an impressive first two games of the season than he did at his last stop, and he’s put himself firmly on the radars of NFL evaluators.

✔️With a stellar 381 yards (career-high) and 4 TDs in the upset win against a Georgia Tech that stifled Florida State, McCord and the #Syracuse offense are proving they belong in the upper echelon of the ACC this season.

💪He’s shown an awesome combination of poise in the pocket and arm talent allow him to comfortably read through progressions and accurately zip the ball into tight windows (⬇️🎥).

📈McCord is a one of a handful of transfer QBs showing that they a.) can adapt to new situations quickly and be successful and b.) maybe we’re a bit underrated at their previous stop.

Excited to see McCord’s development continue this year. This team has a chance to put together a very good season and record 👀

#Michigan TE Colston Loveland has 20 targets through 2 games.

Only one CFB TE has reached 120 targets in a season over the last decade (Trey McBride in 2021). Loveland should join him.

#OleMiss WR Antwane “Juice” Wells (6-0, 205)

A dynamic and dependable target. After battling injuries, the South Carolina transfer is back healthy and off to a fast start already this year.

One of my favorite WR prospects in this years draft.

Some way too early composite 2025 superflex rankings gathered from the internet. So plenty of noise, click bait, highlight and hype bias. Averages and SD exclude maximum and minimum.

It's going to be a fun class. For Superflex I think Beck, Ewers and Allar have first round potential. Tet Mc and Burden are top 5 guys. RBs are so deep I think it comes down to landing spot for a lot of them.

Not on the list that should be is Travis Hunter. I think he goes WR at the next level and lands in Rd1 or early 2.

#UCF RB RJ Harvey has been lights out through three games. Love his run patience and darting quickness. One of my favorite underrated senior prospects in this draft class.

WK1: 11/142/2
WK2: 19/126/4
WK3: 29/180/2

Weak QB class…stronger RB class…slightly below average WR class…does that sound right? Early I know…
That seems to be the drum beat. TE seems to evolve a lot post NFL draft. Loveland has 20 targets through 2 games (@dpbruglar) and not surprising pencil in an Iowa TE early. Not sure if there is a draft day 1 RB yet, but seems to be a lot of day 2 guys. Ohio St - Penn St game will have 4 of the top 10 RBs.

#Alabama QB Jalen Milroe vs. Wisconsin

Deep downfield accuracy was on display yet again (his best trait). Like how they’re embracing 11/12 personnel and motions w/TEs for designed QB runs/play action off of it. Still want to see more throws over the middle of the field from him.

Milroe’s deep touch was excellent vs. Wisconsin.

My notes on Milroe prior to the season ⤵️

2025 NFL Draft prospects that have caught my eye on tape through 3 weeks 📈:

• #Alabama DL LT Overton 👀
• #Texas TE Gunnar Helm
• #Maryland WR Tai Felton
• #Mizzou OL Armand Membou
• #Marshall EDGE/OLB Mike Green
• #BowlingGreen TE Harold Fannin Jr.
• #UCF RB RJ Harvey

I think Ewers & Beck are Maye Caliber prospects. Ward is rising. Sanders is all over the chart. I wouldn't be surprised to see 4 first round QBs.
Based on QB play this year we will definitely see a large batch of that position in the first (like most years). May even see more of a trend of teams with aging QBs grab one earlier than expected like the Falcons did. Not a position you can succeed without at least adequate play.

I do not see many teams trading up in the draft aggressively for a QB, but lots of teams need to build their QB room.

Need a 2025 plan
NY Giants - might see Lock sooner than later
Carolina - the plan changes every month. May work for a hedge fund, but not for a football team
Pittsburgh - I think they’ll sign Fields but as of now they have no QB for 2025

Our QB is old
NY Jets - glorious but doubtful if they spend a 1st round pick on a QB
LA Rams - probably spend late draft picks as Stafford is signed through 2026

Our QB is young but might need to try again
Tennessee - Levis showing why he was not drafted in the first round. Does he learn, or on to the next QB.
Denver - likely to roll with Nix another year but so far not looking good

We have a QB signed but may not be our QB in the near future
Miami - a veteran is more probable if Tua is OOO
Cleveland - when the offense looks better with Flacco….
Las Vegas - we have two QBs, which means we’ll look at another option
Seattle - is Sam Howell the succession plan?
