[Dynasty] Any free agent gems on the trash heap? (1 Viewer)

Certainly every dynasty league is different when it comes to fringe players that are/aren't available...but many of the names are the same? Who are your top dynasty free agent sleepers as we all start to look forward to the offseason, trades and eventually the draft?

Depending on the league, guys like Bradshaw, Reggie Williams, Battle, Matt Jones etc. might still be available. Each year there are some quality gems available come fantasy draft day..who do you like this year?

Well one deep sleeper who's probably available in most leagues is Ravens WR Devard Darling. He probably won't do squat and should be considered a longshot, but he had 316 receiving yards in his final eight games and was formerly a third round draft pick. There's a slight chance he could make some noise down the road.

Some other guys I've grabbed off waivers in my leagues:

Musa Smith - Free agent. Could eventually be the next Betts or Rudi.

Mewelde Moore - Free agent. Probably a career backup, but always produced when given a chance.

Johnnie Lee Higgins - Was actually the WR3 this season and could be in line for an increased role next year.

Memo mentioned above is one of mine. As mentioned, likely backup, but with a season like this Rb injury wise, he could be thrusted into a role and be a very nice PPR back.

Bryant Johnson is a FA and with an extremely thin WR FA class, he could get a chance to start. Many teams need WR help. He is available in a few of my leagues.

jessie chatman might be another. if ricky's back in Miami, I don't see chatman also returning unless Ronnie begins year on PUP.

Anyone have a grasp on the JAX wr situation heading into next season? Granted, Williams got his TD's, but that still seems like a fantasy graveyard. I know there was a lot of hype about the rookie they IR'ed this season. Any homers have any thoughts on who will emerge here?

Maurice Morris and Bryant Johnson were guys I was able to stash on my roster later in the season that could make more of an impact in 2008. Someone else who might be a forgotten man though whether he is available in your league will depend how deep you go, is Sammy Morris. I don't think the Pats will deviate too much from the same script in 2008 unless they are hit hard by injuries in their receiving core.....or heaven forbid...at the QB position. Everyone will be focusing on how Maroney has been racking up 100 yard games late in the season.....and a big reason is because he has been kept fresh, Morris will do that again in 2008.

I also like Andre Hall, esp with Shanny recently making it clear that Selvin Young is not the guy.

I agree, especially if Cam Cameron gets an OC job somewhere.

I like John Broussard as a deep dynasty sleeper ... better than some others listed in the thread ...

Sleeper guy on waivers for me is Jason Hill, and, as someone said earlier, Arnaz Battle might possibly be available or as a buy low. Seems like one of these guys will end up as the Mike Furrey/Shaun McDonald in the Martz offense... assuming something gets done about the QB issues.

I'm guessing Ahmad Bradshaw is still available in a lot of leagues. Talent-wise, where do you rank him amongst next season's big crop of NFL rookie rb's?

From what I've been seing in the playoffs...Bradshaw looks good, real good....he's got excellent vision and cutback abilities.A nice thunder/lightning situation is developing in NY again (possibly better than the Tiki/Dayne one a few years back).Grab Bradshaw if you can.
