Was looking at what would be the best way to do an expansion draft for a 10 team dynasty to expand to 12. Was wondering if anyone had any experience doing something like this. Heres what I'm thinking.
- All 10 teams pick 3 or 4 protected players who cannot be part of expansion draft. Then, both new teams select a player from unprotected pool.
- When a team gets a player taken , they then cannot be picked off again for 4 rounds.
- After every round of 2 players taken, every team then selects another player to be protected.
- All teams who have players taken will receive compensatory rookie draft picks
-Contiunue this for 15 rounds- 30 total players taken . To fill out roster the 2 expansion teams will get (sandwich) rookie draft picks and picks after end of draft
Any feedback appreciated
