Dynasty - Freeman/J Gordon for Amari Cooper (1 Viewer)

10 team non PPR.  Very much in win now mode.  Been offered Amari Cooper for my D Freeman and Josh Gordon.

I'm thinking for the next year or two, in a non PPR Freeman and Cooper are about even (maybe even edge to Freeman is Zeke isn't playing).  So I'm giving up Gordon for free.  But long term I know Cooper is the best piece of this.

This is just a personal opinion but I'm erring on the side of caution with Josh Gordon.  He could play all year or he could play two weeks and go back out of the league again.  I'm rooting for him, he seems like a good guy who just got caught up in some stuff that the NFL doesn't allow,  but I'm not banking on him for any of my fantasy teams.  So for me it comes down to Cooper vs Freeman.  At that point it really comes down to who else is on your team.  Do you really feel like you could use Freeman to fill a hole in your RB group?  Do you have a gluttony of depth at WR?  For me it comes down to if you are in bad need of a Running back, I'd consider making the trade.  If you are relying on Cooper as anything more than a flex player I probably don't make the trade.

I have Freeman - I was offered Cooper.

I also have Chubb, Melvin Gordon, Kerryon Johnson, Juju, Antonio Brown, and K Allen.  We start 1 rb, 2 wr, and 2 flex - and since it's non ppr I've generally gone 3 rbs.  With Gordon holding out, Freeman is now a weekly starter.  If I trade him too, I'd really just have Chubb and Kerryon at RB, at least to start the season.

I would not do the trade.  Who are you going to start Cooper in front of?  Not Juju, Brown, or Allen.

You're talking about adding depth to a position while taking a potential starter away at another position.

If it was ppr I could see loading up on receivers but non-ppr I just don't see how you could make that trade.
