I recently did a composite rookie ranking for offensive players, HERE. So here's a composite ranking of defensive players. The sources: TYFDraft.com, NFLDraftBible.com, NationalFootballPost.com, DraftCountdown.com, Scout.com, RookieDraft.com.
I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much about the defensive side of the ball (rankings wise, at least). So if something seems screwy, you blame it on the wide variations I found in the rankings. With the offensive rankings, there was some disparity, but not nearly as much as I found with the defensive players. Some sites rated a guy at 8, while some didn't rank him in their top 24. So it is what it is.
The only consensus top picks were Suh, McClain, and Berry at first within their positions. McCoy was also a consensus pick at number two at his position.
