We have one good orphaned team available in our Dynasty/Keeper league, for nine years running. This is not a trash team. This league is a player tenure league, which means a player's cost increases the longer he is on your team. Instead of being allowed to protect a fixed number of players, each team can protect a fixed number of years of service. Each year you keep a player, his keeper cost goes up by 1.

This team has already drafted. There are some very nice keepers and a lot of fresh new draft capital available to trade around with. You can truly make this your team! We are looking for a coach who is dedicated, trustworthy, and knows their fantasy football. If you are interested in this league, please contact me via email and tell me a little about yourself. Keep in mind, at $300, this is a semi-high stakes game, so please be prepared to pay $300 in dues every year. On the flip side, this is a 100% payout league.

That team is terrible man. Did they even partake in the draft? How do they not have anyone that would be considered talent from one of the top 3 rounds? I love a challenge but good lord lol

We are offering a discount on this team because it does need a little work. However, In the context of a tenure league, most of these players are very cheap to keep. Much of the talent that you speak about are expensive and many will be returned to the draft pool. Believe it or not, this team actually has a lot of draft capital that can be traded and molded into a competing team by a savvy manager. A better understanding of our league rules, and an examination if player keeper costs would instill a greater confidence.

So this league has already drafted for 2023 season, despite the worst drafted team I’ve ever seen in fantasy history correct? What do you mean by draft capital? Or you mean anyone kept on this team in 2024 will help with the 2024 draft?

Yes this team has drafted already. This is our ninth season, this is not like a redraft where all players are available to be drafted. Our draft is not a rookie draft but there are limited options. If this is the worst team that you have ever seen, then I would venture to say that you haven't participated in many dynasty leagues. I have seen teams worse than this navigated to a playoff run. It just depends on the owner and their ability to readjust.

For instance, Aaron Rodgers will only cost this owner 1 year to keep, whereas Patrick Mahomes will cost his owner 6 years to keep. When you have only 20 years to spend, then which of these QBs is more valuable?

This is a trade heavy league. It would be very easy to flip a player like Aaron Rodgers for another position player and run with Tua. The players on this particular team are so cheap that the owner could easily keep 10 players next year, while there are other teams that can afford to only keep half as many players. This is what I mean by tradeable draft capital. Personally, I know that I could turn this into a playoff team with a little effort and tweaking, but I know that this takes vision and isn't for everyone.
