Dynasty League Looking for Owners - SE Wisconsin/NE Illinois (1 Viewer)

King for a Day

Footballguy
Several friends and I are creating a brand new dynasty league and we are looking for a couple of passionate FF guys to join us. Though we are setting up a new league, we are not new ourselves to FF. We know dozens of people who play FF in other leagues with us but the truth is that we want a special kind of owner for this league and that's why I'm posting this. We want guys that go to a three hour FF draft and then spend another hour afterwards talking about how the draft went. Real diehards that love to play year round.

We've got the basic structural stuff down (12-14 teams, cap league, individual defensive players) but we haven't delved heavily into the key areas such as cap rules, contracts, rosters, starting line ups, etc... because we want all of ownership to weigh in before we nail things down.

I'm happy to share what we have thus far if you write me at rgureski@wi.rr.com. Like I said, we haven't nailed down a lot of the key stuff. We have 9 owners from all across Southeastern Wisconsin and one owner from Northeastern Illinois so if you're in this rough area and you're interested, drop me a note.

Thanks,

Rick

Bump - We have a meeting this Sunday March 23 to talk about league structure. If you're in the SE Wisconsin or Norther Illinois area, please write me at rgureski@wi.rr.com for information.

Thanks,

Rick

What site are you going to use? I know MFL is the favorite around these parts but all my teams are on RTSports and I find that in order to keep on top of everything, I need to have all my teams on one site.

ETA: I think you meant March 27th, this Sunday and accidentally put in yesterdays date. Even if there is interest on both sides, I would not be able to make the meeting (pending baby birth... with due date being the 27th).

We're open to what site to use but I can tell you that we use RealTime for another league some of us are in and we like the simplicity of the site. It's not to say that it's a definite that we are going to go at RT but it is going to be the first site we test on. MFL is an option but many of us would prefer a different route if we can find something that works well. And you're right about the meeting. It's Sunday March 27. Write me if you want to see more about what we have. Thanks, rgureski@wi.rr.com

Still need 2 owners. If you're in SE Wisconsin/Northern Illinois, write me at rgureski@wi.rr.com. This is your chance to have a say in making of the rules and become part of a league that we hope to run for a long time. We will have at least one in-person meetings each year as part of this league too so if this sounds like it's for you, write me.

Thanks,
