Dynasty leagues that use player salary's/contracts (1 Viewer)

I am looking for anyone else who plays in a dynasty league where you use player salary's, contracts and have a salary cap.

If you play in a league like this can you post the link to your league. I want to see how your league runs and how it compares to mine as far as that part goes.

Thanks!

SFL does salary caps with bonuses, franchise/transition, renegotiations and so forth and so on. It's nuts.

SFL

I'm not sure if that site can be accessed if you're not a league guy though.

http://football27.myfantasyleague.com/2009/home/4637755 man rosters, 26 players start each week (11 offensive skill positions, a 4-3 defense and coach, kicker, punter and special teams). $500 cap. 3 year contracts with ability to give 1 or 2 year extensions for a raise that starts in year 3. 1 franchise and 2 transition tags that can be used for new 3 year contracts, but tag stays on the player for all 3 years if used. Rookie salaries set by round based on averages of veteran players at that position.

Here is another couple, these 2 and Ysatnaf_Gnik's are all $1000 salary caps....I play in all 3 actually. Ysatnaf_Gnik's league has already had its rookie draft and will commence our initial auction in a few days. The first link below is just finishing up it's initial auction, the last link started last year and will have it's rookie draft in a month.

You can check our league here....http://www5.myfantasyleague.com/2010/home/27608
This league here clearly takes it to the next level or the highest level I have ever seen. Makes my league look like 1st grade math while this league looks like Pythagorean theorem. My head is still spinning after reading this.

Thanks I guess... :-)These rules are a modified and tweaked version of the rules from Kurtrudder and his partner at Paragon Fantasy. They deserve all the credit. They did a phenomenal job with their Bylaws. We simply asked for their permission to take it a step further and tweak an already amazing set of FF rules for a Dynasty/IDP league.

Very interesting you use contract years but no salary.I am going to make a new work league dynasty league but want to make it different then the one I currenlty run (CFL)

I am debating having only contract years like you did or having no contracts at all.
Yeah, I actually kind of half stole the ruleset from another league I was in and modified it a bit. So far every single person that we've had in the league has absolutely loved it. You have a contract cap instead of a salary cap, and with only one franchise/transition tag each year it really adds a lot of strategy without being too overwhelming.

Those rules look similar to a long-running pair of leagues ... the PRL and LHL ...
