Dynasty Pricing (1 Viewer)

I'm leaning towards selling my team and doing a fast super rebuild (feel free to talk me off the fence).  I've won a bunch over the years including last year, I'm sure I could compete again but I dont want a slow decline.

Are these values in the ballpark?

Antonio Brown for Pick #2 & Josh Doctson

David Johnson...A top 4 pick this year, + 1st next year + young on the asset (like a Doctson)?

What should Dez Bryant fetch?

Jordy Nelson pick ranging 5-7?

Thanks for the input!!

Requirements: 1QB, 2RB, 4WR, 1 Flex, 1 TE, 3DL, 3LB, 3DB, 2 Flex D
Flex Scoring: .1/yard, 6/TD, .25/carry, .5/catch for RB, .75/catch for WR, 1pt Tackle
24 man roster offense, 20 IDP. 10 team dynasty league

My team

QB: Luck, Tyrod
RB: D Johnson, C Hyde, D Murray, T Rawls, J Hill, C Michael, Draughn, McKinnon, Artis-Payne, J Richard, DJ Foster
WR: Antonio Brown, Dez Bryant, Jordy Nelson, Kelvin Benjamin, Deshaun Jackson, Marvin Jones, Tyrell Williams, Eli Rodgers, Nelson Agholor
TE: Dwayne Allen, Virgil Green

I can understand doing a rebuild to some extent.  I think you need at least 1 more starter-quality RB or rookie who is expected to be one.  I also like selling Dez.  I would also shop Nelson and D. Jackson.  I am not a big fan of Benjamin and would trade him if you can get a good return.  He was recently traded for T. Coleman in one of my dynasty leagues with similar RB scoring, but 1 PPR for WRs and TEs.

For Dez I would want a future 1st and a young, but affordable asset (like Doctson if you like him).  If you can get a top 5 or 6 rookie pick this year instead of a future 1st I would do that too.  I would want a similar return for Nelson, who is older than Dez but IMO is better for the short term, provided he stays healthy.  For Jackson I would take a 2nd in this year's rookie class if you can get a rookie who you like a lot, such as one of the TEs.  You can use some help at TE and there are 3 elite prospects as well as at least 1 high end prospect (Everett).  If you can get a TE already in the NFL, such as Hooper, for Jackson I would do that too.

Selling Brown and Johnson is trickier.  I think your value for Johnson is about what I would look for, although I probably don't like Doctson as much as others, but he is an example of the type of young asset I would want in the deal.  I would want at least as much for Brown as I would want for Johnson, so I would add in a future 1st to that value you put on him.  I would also move it from top 2 to top 4 or 5 because I think the top 4 RBs and Davis all have about the same level of realistically achievable upside, and it opens up a deal with more teams than if you are set on getting a top 2 pick.

Thanks, great feedback.  Interesting that you have Brown and DJ on the same value.

Would a David Johnson for Mike Evans deal make sense.  I get a top WR that should be a WR1 for 8yrs vs a RB who should be a RB1 for 3-4yrs.

You have plentynof time for rebuilding and in fact I prefer reloading.  The point is to win and you have a team that can still do that.  I would not blow it up but I would lo9k to move Dez, Jordy, and Murray if you can get a decent return.  I would not move Brown or Johnson without a huge overpayment.

Moving your beat two assets is no guarantee of hitting on those picks or potential.  Play to win for as long as you can because playing for next year may never work out.

I would do that if you can get it, but IMO Evans is worth more than Johnson.  Beckham and Evans are the top 2 dynasty assets at this point in time IMO.  Everyone else, including the top tier of RBs, is slightly below them.  You would probably have to add in a little to get it done.  What does the Evans team look like?  Maybe you can add in a WR and get a young RB like Coleman in the deal.  Also, what RBs and TEs do the teams with Mike Thomas, Cooper and other top, young WRs who are a step below Beckham and Evans have?  I am thinking a package deal that gets you a RB downgrade but still a very good, young RB along with that level of WR helps your team by maintaining the performance of a top WR but still getting many years younger.

Overall, I think it would be good to have 3 good RBs on your roster.  If one of them is Johnson that's great because he is an elite player, but if you can get a young player like Evans by trading him that's great, provided you make subsequent trades to restock your RBs.  You should be able to get some RBs or 1st round picks by trading Dez, Nelson and maybe Benjamin.

Honest question...why do you ant to tear your team apart? This has the looks of a league winner. You probably have the best team in your league at WR, and potentially RB(at least 3 deep) and a great QB combo to boot. TE is a weakness, but you could easily move a WR for a better guy.

A few reasons.  The setup is that In the last 10yrs I've been in 7 superbowls and won 4, including 2 out of last 3yrs.

1.  Winning never gets old but I don't think I'll handle aging (and not winning) gracefully.  I feel that I would be a top 3 favorite this year but I'd need to deal young assets now or at the deadline to keep up, going further in the hole.  Alternatively I can sell high, eat one year, and setup for another 10yr run.

2.  I've been playing FF for 15+yrs, it's not quite as easy as it once was getting up for the season.  I think a 1-yr rebuild would be re-energizing (and set me up will if I deal well).

3.  There is one other stacked that team that I believe I can be in a better position against in yrs 3-7 and still compete vs them in yr 2 if I deal them assets for next year.  I'll only deal with them if I can extract a costly price.

All that being said, I'm still not 100% sold but here I am.

I wouldn't move DJ or Brown.  Team is still built to win.   No guarantees in draft pciks.

You still have your rookie draft to supplement your team.  I would target guys (Derrick Henry?)  that could see a jump in value and might be had for less than an elite player.
