I went with Betts here. I think he will be starting soon, even with the new contract
Where?
I just think either he or Portis is somewhere else by August .... call it a strong hunch
Gibbs is [now] trying to build an offense based around a punishing rushing attack, ball control and a strong O-Line like his great teams of yesteryear. They have a perfect set-up for that. I just don't see a scenario where Portis will be traded, leaving them with Betts and nothing. And I think it's safe to say that Betts won't be traded fresh off signing an extension. He knew he was going to be RB 1b when he signed his extension. Hunches often pay off, but I'm not seeing this one. I think Betts is coming off the best two months he'll ever have.

FYI - Betts' birthday is listed incorrectly here. He isn't 31 years old, he was born on August 27, 1979. (making him 27 years old right now)

It makes me uneasy when a player does well in his first appearance in the poll. Hopefully it's just a coincidence.
