After 'punting' the 2020 Season due to potential C-19 complications (20+ year Dyn League, we didn't want potential C-19 issues messing with our history, etc.), our League held a Lottery for all the picks in our 2021 Rookie/UFA Draft. I lucked into the 1.02, and picked Najee Harris.
An Owner engaged in a tear down/rebuild held the 1.10, took Trey Sermon.
Contract Dynasty. A piece he's very interested in trading is Derrick Henry/2YrContract.
Fairly certain he'll accept an offer of Harris for Henry/2 + Sermon. He needs foundational building blocks, and covets Harris.
As much as I like Harris, from a Dyn perspective, Steelers are a year away from Life After Big Ben. Healthy 2021 Ben, I think Harris is a sky-is-the-limit play. Healthy 2021 Ben is not exactly a certainty. Steelers O-Line isn't a plus for Healthy 2021 Big Ben, or 2021 sky-is-the-limit Harris. Life after Big Ben? Uncertain, at best.
Henry is a Terminator. That being said, how long can he sustain? Even 2021 has potential warts. Something not enough people are picking up on regarding the Titans 2021 rush offense is the loss of Cory Davis and Jonnu Smith in the blocking scheme, and how important they were to Henry's success. Firkser is a pure receiver, he's no blocker. Julio and Reynolds were acquired, in part, because of their ability and willingness as quality run blockers, but this is facilitating a change from a 2TE approach to a 3WR approach. Plus, Julio isn't the picture of durability, and other WR are outperforming Reynolds in the passing game at the moment, which could cost him snaps.
Really like the long-term potential of Sermon, though, starting in 2021, and as a full-on RB1 in the Shanahan running scheme in 2022 and beyond.
So, in effect, it would be Henry 2021/22 >>>Sermon 21/22 and beyond, in exchange for Harris' career.
I'm not inclined to add anything on my end to close the deal if he were to counter.
My only other RB of consequence pertaining to this discussion is Dobbins, on my taxi squad. Like Harris, he could be signed to as long a Contract as one would choose. Guy likes him, too, but believe it or not, I like Dobbins in Dyn better than Harris. That's just me.
So...Henry/2 + Sermon/0 for Harris/0...yes, or no? Thanks!
