Surprises me that Curry is leading this early in the 2nd not that he will be taken in in this round.

Is this typical, is he that much of an exception, or is it because this years offensive options are that weak?

Would he have gone off the board sooner if he had been listed?

In most of the leagues I'm in a LB would have been picked after 2-3 WR's. They have more value than the 7th WR.

I double checked 3 leagues past 3 years drafts and the 1st defensive player averaged out to be the 2.3 pick and there was a definite leaning toward that 1st or at least the 2nd IDP being a LB. Something I never noticed before.

LB's who are being talked about as potential top 5 NFL Draft picks don't normally fall this far, or at least they shouldn't.

He might not have, keep in mind this is a spinoff and this is the first one with IDP in it. If I had to guess, I'd say in a league with heavy IDP scoring that Curry would slot in right around pick 1.10.

I've been reading/hearing that Curry could play SLB, I wouldn't touch him if that's the case before the end of the 2nd. If he's a MLB, end of 1st / early 2nd.RM should go right around here IMO.FWIW, I saw Willis go anywhere from 10 to 18, he's the best LB I've seen as a prospect.

Yeah, it always matters what system you think they're going into and where they'll play. I prefer Curry, but depending on situation it could easily be Rey at the #1 spot. Seriously, every draft I'm in, LBs start going towards the end of the first round. Once the premium offensive talent is gone, people look for premium defense. There's fewer of them, but a lot of people will take a chance on Curry/Maualuga over an iffy RB or WR. No matter how much you like Jennings or Nicks or Britt, there's a good chance one or more of them will be drafted into a situation where they aren't immediately useful. Because of that, I value a top-flight defensive prospect that has a chance to contribute right away. You can always draft the draft's 6th best WR. You can't always draft the draft's 1st or 2nd LB. Y'know?

I don't disagree, but last year the consensus 6th and 8th "best" WRs were Eddie Royal and DeSean Jackson.

I saw Willis go 1.3-1.5 too in a few. In such leagues LB's score in the top 10.

Based on what I've seen and read I think Curry would fit best at MIKE or WILL, it'd be disappointing to learn whoever drafts him plans to use him at SAM and will suredly drop him out of the #1 LB conversation.A top 5 NFL Draft pick in a good situation and I'll rank Curry in the bottom portion of the top 10 in my formats (they're a bit more IDP friendly).
