After A Brown blowing up Thursday I may have a tough time winning this week, so I figured I would take my mind off it and think about next year. I need to decide who to keep McFadden or RM in a 3 keeper league. I will be keeping Cam and CJ as my other two keepers. Both are high upside guys and have shown to be very brittle. Ironically they are both 24 even though McFadden has played two more years. Does McFadden probably being out for the year really hurt his dynasty value? So who do I keep? I am in a TD heavy league (1 pt for 20 yards, 6 for TD), however both these backs may get opportunity to get goalline carries next year

For fun I included my top 16 dynasty back rankings. If you could give me your opinion between RM and MacFadden and include your top 16 dynasty backs I would appreciate it.

1. AD

2. Foster

3. Rice

4. McCoy

5. Jones Drew

6. CJ

7. Forte

8. Mendenhall

9 & 10. RM and McFadden

11. Lynch

12. Murray

13. Trent Richardson

14. Wells

15. Bush

16. Ingram

Are you serious?

You do realize that Mathews isn't half as good as McFadden, right?

You have Lynch above Murray in a dynasty ranking? HAHAHAHA!!!!!! Good one!

Great analysis. McFadden might be the only guy in the league that could make Matthews look tough. Also, Lynch is young and performing as good or better in a worse situation than Murray, the differences isn't as wide as you make it.

thanks for the support djmich. I am in a TD heavy league. Lynch is only 25 years old and 8th in my league in scoring. Has 6 TDs in his last 6 games and other than Murray's 250 yard game has looked just good not great and seems to be allergic to the endzone. Back to the topic at hand, RunDMC or Mathews and feel free to post your top 16 dynasty backs.

I like Murray over Lynch in dynasty, but to discount what Lynch has been doing this season (and he's still young) seems like fairly poor judgement.

1-Foster2-ADP3a-McCoy3b-Rice5-Chris Johnson6-McFadden (plus Bush if Bush remains in Oak)7-Lynch8-Forte (questions about where he'll go)9-MJD10-Murray11-Mendenhall12-Wells13-Mathews14-Turner (age-I don't think he'll have more than 1-2 great years left, but will score TDs)15-Gore (age-I don't think he'll have more than 1-2 great years left)16-S Jackson16-I didn't rank any rookies, because the situation they land in is paramount. That's also why I have Forte 8. If he goes to a team with a good offense, without a goal-line vulture, I'd bump him up to 5th.

McFadden has one of the toughest running styles in the league, he always initiates contact and shows no fear. He has gotten injured which is different from being soft. I just can't stand it when people call McFadden soft when he's one of the toughest runners in the league.

IIRC,conventional wisdom from Chicago writers/insiders was that Forte will be tagged if he isn't extended, wasn't it? Has that changed?

That was/is the rumor. If that comes to fruition, I would have him at 8; if he goes to a different team that has a decent-to-good offense & he is the goal-line guy, I'd have him higher.

This is actually true for Ryan Mathews, I think the soft label on him is coming from people who don't really watch his games.

Isn't RunDMC retired? That's what it looks like to me.

Perhaps he went & joined the priesthood with Glen Coffee.

I'll echo Terpman22's reaction to the assorted Charles snubs. Unlike McFadden, Charles will still be playing football next season.
