I have been offered the following trade:

Ajayi ($8 could escalate to $18 if finish top 10 RB) - currently RB31 at 34 pts (RB10 = 67 pts)

Keenan Allen ($10 escalate to $20 with top 10WR finish) -  currently WR13 at 47 pts (WR10 = 54 pts)

Jaylon Smith ($5 won't escalate) - 29 pts

Josh Jones ($10 won't escalate) - 43 pts

for

Derek Henry ($10  won't escalate) - 42 pts

Allen Robinson ($1 won't escalate)

Ogletree ($14 escalate to  $24 with top 10LB finish) - 53 pts

Landon Collins ($14 escalate to $24 with top 10 DB finish) - 52 pts

Non- PPR scoring; RB get bonus (4pts) at 50 yds rushing or 50 yds receiving.  RB 1 pt/15yds; WR 1 pt/12yds with 3 pt bonus at 100 yds.  1 pt/tackle; 8 pts per sack; 9 pts per INT

I am trying to make a push for this year and have LB's and DB's to cover the deficiency of losing Ogletree/Collins.  I lost Beckham and need a WR badly and my RB2 is a choice between Cohen, Henry, James White, Ellington, Stewart every week (which I have been guessing wrong).  I have Martin as RB1.

Is losing the upside of future Henry and cheap Robinson worth gaining Allen and Ajayi?

I would much rather have Henry next year but Keenan is attractive enough and if you want to focus on this year then do it.

I don't know how the rest of your team shapes up, but if I'm being honest, I don't like your chances for this year even after the trade. You don't seem to have any clear "game winners" which is generally what it takes to win championships. I think your team is much better poised for the future with Henry/Robinson than it will be if you make that trade. IDP are pretty much trade bait and a dime-a-dozen, even in the upper echelon so I don't think losing them is a big deal but the offensive guys you're sitting on have massive, massive potential. Henry takes over at some point in the near future and will almost certainly be a top 5 back on that offense and as soon as the Jags quite Jagging off with Bortles and bring in a real QB, Robinson is gonna be a perennial #1 WR. I'd hold.

My difference makers are on the defensive side (although it didn't help that I lost Beckham).  Our scoring system is balanced between offense and defense so you can build through defense and win.  Building through defense because most owners aren't as thorough on that side of the ball has been my bread and butter (won 2 out of last 3 years).  Right now it is hurting me because my offensive side is lacking a bit which is why I am entertaining this offer.  I originally  approached this owner with a trade to get Evans and Ajayi and he substituted Allen for Evans.  I might put his feet to the fire and see how bad he wants Henry to see if he will swap back to Evans.
