PPR. I have the first overall pick. I’m leaning Joe Burrow, but thinking also of Clyde Edwards-Helaire. I do already have Dak P, Jimmy G, and Cam N at QB. RB was more of a weakness for me last year. Thoughts?
Complete a combined draft board based on your league scoring and lineup requirements. Then pick whichever player is at the top of your board. Don't worry about position specifically. QB in a SF should raise their value so they should move up the board over regular one QB leagues but whether or not that elevates Burrow to the top spot is based on your evaluation and league knowledge.
Don't take a lesser player to force a position. The goal is to get a starter for multiple seasons. Taking the best player according to your board should give you the best chance of doing that.
I just took over an orphan sf dynasty league with the 1.1 pick. I was immediately looking at CEH until I dug a little deeper into the scoring and starting requirements. I Set up a draft sheet to see where players fall out. Made a decision on whether Burrow was t5 qb or 12-18 guy. Whether CEH the second coming of Marshall Faulk or career RBBC guy. Factor in a bit of longevity and made more of a strategic decision. I chose Burrow but I could have gone RB. Actually if I had decided RB I would try to trade back and take Dobbins.
