I have a 10 team Dynasty league and i am currently sitting in 1st place at 8-0.  I am always struggling at the TE position with Eric Ebron, Chris Herndon, and Tre Burton.  I was just offered Evan Engram for my first round pick next year and was wondering if i should pull the trigger. Here are my current players

QB - Matt Ryan, Philip Rivers, Mason Rudolph

RB - Dalvin Cook, Nick Chubb, Ausitn Ekler, Jordan Howard, Darrel Henderson, , Damien Harris

WR - Michael Thomas, Tyreek Hill, Stephon Diggs, AJ Green, Calvin Ridle, yRobby Anderson, Paul Campbell, Myles Boykin, , Alex Erickson

TE - Ebron, Herndon, Trey Burton

I totally see your thinking there and it’s very tempting however Herndon should be back and I personally don’t feel Engram is worth a 1st round pick.

I would ABSOLUTELY do that deal.  Your 1st-rounder is likely going to be at or near the end of the round.  What player do you think you could get there that would be of Engram's caliber? 

How many years does he have on his deal?  If he's in his last contract year, maybe you ask for some cash on top to offset the need to match him in RFA. But if it's a multiple-year deal, I would definitely do this.  Engram is worth more than a late 1st IMO.

What are the keeper restrictions (salary cap, round lost, how long can you keep him, etc)?  That is a big factor in giving up a 1st round pick for me.  You should be fine with Herndon when he starts playing and obviously you aren't being hurt too bad if you are 8-0,

I agree with Gally...  I would be hesitant with giving up the 1st for Engram.  Also, in a 10 team league, there has to be someone better than Burton on waivers.  I think he is taking up a spot that you can use for someone else.  Is this a PPR league?
