Play in a keeper league where you can keep 3 - 6 players. League has been win heavy this year with 20 point wins for SP's and bonus points for CG's and SO's. Next year we are modifying a little and going to 12 pts for a W and 8 pts for a Quality Start along with the same bonuses.

Been offered Sabathia for Longoria straight up.

What will EL's ADP likely be come next year? 3.x, 4.x?

Standard scoring for offense with -1 for strikeouts.

Am I selling EL high? At 28 I could see at least 2 - 3 more solid years, no?

Any homers care to chime in?

I think you're on the losing end of that deal. CC's frame scares the crap out of me in dyno, but the fact remains he has never had arm injury issues and he has proven he can handle a heavy workload so there is that going for you. Plus I think the likelihood of him staying the NL is strong due to his bat, so he'll see weaker lineups too.

A quick skim through the numbers has me tentatively ranking Longoria between 4th and 6th among 3B's (assuming Miggy maintains his 3B eligibility and Braun loses his) - behind A Rod, Wright, and Miggy - on the same tier as Atkins and A Ram. That'd pit him around #30-35 on my board, but the only place he has to go from there is up, we know what CC is and that's a top 5-10 SP - I only value the elite pitchers (Webb and Peavy) as high as I do the top 6 3B's. Short term you may be on the short end (might not - I'd be betting against though), long term you have a good chance of being on the wrong end.

I'd hold.

Keep Longoria, he is just getting started. He will be a keep for the next 10 years, barring injury of course.

So will CC, But Evan can be a top ten player in two seasons while CC will never be quite that high
A guy with 243 starts is "not just getting started"..........if I had to bet, I'd say CC is out of the league in 10 years. Longoria is the play here.

Longoria is 22 and already performing well above average at his position. Once he gets better at recognizing the breaking stuff low and away and driving it the other way - he's going to dominate.
