snorlax

Zzzzzzzzzzzz.
These are consensus dynasty rankings for year 2007 standard FBGs scoring no PPR

If you vote other, please specify.

Also, please comment on your vote, and list any player that should be nominated for the next round.

I like the chatter going on so lets keep that going as we vote. Discussion about why you prefer one of these players compared to the others is useful to everyone involved and offers insight into how people in your leagues may view these players compared to others.

gheemony made a great point about one way to consider dynasty value for players in rankings by giving 50% value to 2007, 33% to 2008, and 17% to 2009. I know there are many ways to look at this and how hard it is to project for players even for one year. But I think it is significant enough that its worth mentioning. I am sure everyone has a different formula that they might use. But this one to me has some good balance and makes a lot of sense. And now has become a topic of discussion in this thread: http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...=296123&hl= I welcome you all to read this and offer your perspectives on methods you use in determining where to rank players in dynasty leagues.

While I do like Holmes, I'm going for upside here and nobody has more upside than Jones. (Jarrett might be close)

still some decent choices. Went with Stallworth because if he can stay healthy the guy should be extremely productive, but Holmes, Jennings & Jones are all worth serious looks based on potential.

Branch is entering his first off-season as a Seahawk, D-Jax can't stay healthy and Hackett is on the way out (right ??). To me he was the easy choice here

On the assumption he stays in Philly, I went with Stallworth. Very close call here among several candidates.

I wonder if everyone voting for Stallworth even realizes that he's a free agent.
I know, but he's proven that when healthy (a big if these days), he can put up solid numbers. Most of the other guys have just as many ?, if not more.

Went with Stallworth here, as he's proven the most, but it's very close with Berrian, Holmes, and Cotchery.

I personally would not draft him, but this might be getting to a place to add Chris Henry; his pure talent level and opportunity in the Cincy offense makes him a candidate if he can stay out of trouble.

Stallworth recently said that he would like to return to the Eagles, but he wants to test the free-agent market. If he does come back to the Eagles, I think he's a steal here, but there's still a lot of uncertainty with him. Other possible suitors included the Patriots, 49ers, and Dolphins.
