Eagles at Cardinals (1 Viewer)

Eagles with some blatant holds that aren't getting called. Refs suck both ways, I know the Cards have gotten away with some too.

It's pocket presence. You have to know when the pocket is clean and when it's not. Good quarterbacks have it, Vick doesn't.For all my blustering, I know Vick isn't terrible, but he's not good either. He's an average quarterback with elite physical skills playing in a system that isn't ideal for him.
 
We need a emoticon of a smiley winding up a pistol and taking the bullet train. Would quite correctly show how I feel about the Eagles today.

Vicks problem is an Oline that seems to consistently allow at least one defender to run at him completely unblocked. The system sucks too but it could work if the Oline played outstanding.
 
PHI offensive line looking like absolute s#1t today. Surprised Vick isn't shattered already.

Yeah, and if he was a good quarterback he'd check out of that play or assign a blocker to the blitzer. But he's not, so he doesn't. Andy and Marty don't know what defense is being called when they call a play, that's on Vick.(edit) If you think a good QB would just line up and call those plays as is, when there's an obvious unblocked blitzer, you're fooling yourself.

Arizona challenging a 2 yard catch that makes it 3rd and 7 instead of 3rd and 9. Apparently they want the clock to stop with the Eagles in their 4 down offense. I'd love to see a draw here.

(edit) That successful challenge just saved the Eagles 36 seconds.

Nothings changed, the last two years it was like this ( vick getting blasted ). Still doesn't get the calls either but this year its just worse. He literally is hit more the McCoy

The fact that McCoy gets 5 carries a game might have something to do with that.

Just a hunch, but I would have to guess that the Eagles OL is made up of dog lovers :shrug:
 
Boy this Cards D gets after it. Don't think they're at the level of SF, but amazing how far, how fast this D has come together.

They've kept Kolb upright and he's not making mistakes so far. :thumbup:
