Card Trader

Eagles with some blatant holds that aren't getting called. Refs suck both ways, I know the Cards have gotten away with some too.
It's pocket presence. You have to know when the pocket is clean and when it's not. Good quarterbacks have it, Vick doesn't.For all my blustering, I know Vick isn't terrible, but he's not good either. He's an average quarterback with elite physical skills playing in a system that isn't ideal for him.Funny, he did tht exact thing earlier on the same drive and took yet another hit because of it. He got a 1st down though. You're biase against Vick is obvious.
Vicks problem is an Oline that seems to consistently allow at least one defender to run at him completely unblocked. The system sucks too but it could work if the Oline played outstanding. It's pocket presence. You have to know when the pocket is clean and when it's not. Yeah, and if he was a good quarterback he'd check out of that play or assign a blocker to the blitzer. But he's not, so he doesn't. Andy and Marty don't know what defense is being called when they call a play, that's on Vick.(edit) If you think a good QB would just line up and call those plays as is, when there's an obvious unblocked blitzer, you're fooling yourself.Vicks problem is an Oline that seems to consistently allow at least one defender to run at him completely unblocked. Yeah, once down 4 scores Andy likes to surprise them with the run.Now we get balanced play calling... great.
I was wondering that as well, it was what, a 1 yd gain? Why challenge that?
gotta feel for vick , no one desserves to be hit this often as a qb
The fact that McCoy gets 5 carries a game might have something to do with that.Nothings changed, the last two years it was like this ( vick getting blasted ). Still doesn't get the calls either but this year its just worse. He literally is hit more the McCoy
Well considering McCoy only touched the ball 16 times (rushing & receiving)...Nothings changed, the last two years it was like this ( vick getting blasted ). Still doesn't get the calls either but this year its just worse. He literally is hit more the McCoy
Was thinking the same thing lol but you know what i mean. I literally never seen a QB get hit as much as he does. The fact that McCoy gets 5 carries a game might have something to do with that.Nothings changed, the last two years it was like this ( vick getting blasted ). Just a hunch, but I would have to guess that the Eagles OL is made up of dog loversVicks problem is an Oline that seems to consistently allow at least one defender to run at him completely unblocked.
