Eagles Pass D as a Match Up (1 Viewer)

After what Fitzgerald did to them, do you see it as a fluke or can you begin starting your WR1 against them with more confidence now?

Mainly asking in terms of Nicks - who faces them and then NYJ week 16, but also in general.

Rest of the year's opponents:

Giants

Pats

Seahawks

Dolphins

Jets

Cowboys

Nnamdi doesnt seem to match up with any one WR. He also seems to play some safety on occassion. Anyway, after what Skelton and Fitz did to them I have zero problems rolling out Nicks.

While the Eagles have a few good cornerbacks, their safeties are weak and their D coordinator is clueless. I don't think they're a great matchup but I certainly wouldn't bench a # 1 against them.

Also worth mentioning about the Eagles pass D:

Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has a high ankle sprain and torn ligaments and was in a walking boot,

<snip>

The most long-term injury appears to be to Rodgers-Cromartie. The cornerback, who returned kickoffs in college but never in the NFL, was hurt while going through the wedge on the opening kickoff of the second half. He said someone rolled up on his ankle.

Rodgers-Cromartie had shown increased energy to that point and said he liked the idea of returning kicks.

"It was just an opportunity for me to go out there and make a play," he said. "It felt good having the ball in my hands."

Now it's not clear when he will play next. Joselio Hanson would fill in for him in nickel situations, with Brandon Hughes likely stepping into dime packages

Against weak QBs and bad offenses I would use the Philly Def. But they are no longer a must start. Their defensive coordinator stinks.

3/25 in Week 3 is concerning
Or you could be the Fitz owner who left all those points on your bench.
That's very true, NYG does have more options though. Targets Vs SF: Cruz 11, Manningham 10, Nicks 4 and the Giants may choose to pound with Jacobs vs PHI who isn't great vs the run.Just throwing some concerns out there. Not for everyone, but some may have other solid Fant WR options.
