Holla at your boy!
At least we don't have to make time to watch the Ravens' playoff game - againJust Netlfix and chillin...by myself.
Yea, that would suck. Terps hoops are going well so far and I have some hope for the football team for the first time in a long time. Like maybe top 25 good eventually but still way better than they were during the Edsell dark ages.At least we don't have to make time to watch the Ravens' playoff game - again![]()
I really like the freshmen Turgeon brought in - they're good, but not SO good they'll leave earlyYea, that would suck. There'll be plenty of time to sleep when you're dead.Quiet, I'm trying to sleep
No experience with canopy tents. What kids sport are you using it for? Also, anybody have any experience with good quality canopy tents?
My KD Kanopy didn't survive the snow, so I had to replace it this morning. Not sure how much the KD was new (I received it broken and brought it back to life). Great tent, but my guess is they are at least $400-500 new. Site makes you call for prices.
Went with an ABC Canopy just to test it out. It seems of decent quality and it's cheap enough that I don't need it to be as good as that KD was.
Oh, I don't use it kids sports. It's stationary. I just use for a little weather protection for my grills and some outdoor freezers at the restaurant. Mainly, so I don't get my ### wet smoking pulled pork in the rain. It's pretty ghetto, but it makes more sense than building a real lean-to sort of roof (which would be about a grand just to do it myself, I think). Probably at least $2500-3000 to have somebody else do it.No experience with canopy tents. What kids sport are you using it for?
You have a barbecue restaurant too?Oh, I don't use it kids sports. It's stationary. I just use for a little weather protection for my grills and some outdoor freezers at the restaurant. My main issue is I need to pull the fabric canopy part off when snow is coming. I usually do, but we were just supposed to get a light dusting this time and I didn't bother. Somehow, it didn't collapse, but the fabric ripped pretty bad.
It doesn't need to be world class, but needs to be little more sturdy than an $80 Walmart canopy.
I wouldn't call it that. We're a hot dog/burger/breakfast place that also serves Pulled Pork (and every once in a while when I have time, Brisket and Smoked Turkey). It sells pretty regularly, but we don't sell a ton of it (which is fine by me because I don't have the time, staff or set-up to smoke a ton of it). It's not world class Tipsy level BBQ, but it's better most anything you can get around here (not saying much). Honestly, I'm not overly proud of it either. I used to BBQ catering which I much preferred. I could serve it fresh off the smoker that way. No real way to do that here. You have a barbecue restaurant too?
Ah I remember your story now. The restaurants doing pretty well now, right?I wouldn't call it that. I think so. Well, not this week. This week has sucked (January has been our slowest month the past couple of years), and snow and closed days don't help. But overall, very good. I was very fortunate. The place has been here 47 years now. Business was in decline, but a very loyal base of customers were still coming and keeping it afloat. I mostly just needed to not run off the regulars, do some things to bring in some new customers, and make it more efficient. We're getting there.Ah I remember your story now. Lifting as we speak. Then on to the elliptical. I can only imagine the horrors I'm putting my body through but I'm a vain mother####er.It's so late on the east coast, shouldn't you be at the gym getting fat?
FIT! I meant fit.
Thanks AAA. Looking forward to it.Congrats on the new gig JD.
Funny you started this - my wife hates me because I wake her up most weekends because I can't sleep in. I got up at 7:15 which is late for me.
