Effect of Pitta injury on Ray Rice (1 Viewer)

With Pitta out, is the general consensus that the Ravens may lean even more on Rice as a receiver out of the backfield?

The emergence of Pierce seems to have Rice stock down this year but this was a consensus top 3 RB who even in a down year, still was a top 10 RB in most scoring systems.

I also wonder what Pitta's loss will mean to Rice, as well as T. Smith and Flacco. Perhaps no major change to Rice one way or the other. Hard to tell.

I expect this means Rice will be as much or more involved in passing game as in the past.

Couldn't it hurt Rice rather than help him? The Ravens have nothing but Torrey for receivers now, and I was never too high on him. I see a lot of loading the box against Rice now. The whole offense takes a big downgrade for me (and I'm not happy about it, as a Rice and Pitta owner across several leagues).
