There's a pretty healthy-sized thread on Starks. Another on Starks-Grant. And I'm sure if I looked, another on Starks-Grant-Green.

Here's my take on Starks

Maybe it's just me but there is no Starks video, there is a title for it, but below that there is nothing to watch. The one for AP is there, but not Starks. I refreshed it a few times thinking it may be my comp, but still nothing for me.

Try it now...not sure what was going on. I had the same issue. I'm getting a lot of traffic in a short period of time, which might be the issue. The embedded code was correct, but I re-pasted and ran a test. Should work now.

You said at the end.....What these highlights didn’t show was Starks in pass protection. He will need to continue developing his skills. I think his greatest area of focus as a pass protector will be processing defensive looks and reacting accordingly.

Starks middle name is "Matador", because that is his general pass blocking style. In the SB he completly wiffed on pass blocking at least twice. Grant is no Brandon Jackson on the blitz pick up, but he usally gets at least a hand on the blitzer.

That's my analysis. If Grant is healthy, he will be the starter till Matador figures out how to stick the blitzer rather than just saying "Ole"

Good job Matt. Big fan of your work. By any measure, the thoroughness of your analysis has got to be in the top 1% of FF writers.

Ironically I'm finishing a dynasty start up that saw me take Matthews (uncomfortably) early and Starks about as late as I dared. Your previous write ups on these 2 players reinforced my own projections and I appreciate that.

Keep up the good work.

That's my worry about him too. Starks is actually 25 years old. If he plays in a timeshare due to his lack of pass blocking ability, he may only get a chance to be a featured back for a couple of years, before he is put back into a timeshare due to concerns of age.

In terms of 2010/11 analysis on why Starks got the nod, couldn't it have been as simple as fresh legs?
