This is the correct answer.I would ask the owner of team 2 how he perceives this deal to benefit his team.Depending on his answer I might not want to remain in this league again next year.

Team 2 gets 3 starters and a handcuff for this year. Team 1 gets one starter, 1 guy whose career is in jeopardy, a backup and a scrub.

For next year, if Team 2 is hurting, this gives him the ability to keep Owens and Portis instead of Manning and Alexander next year. That seems like an upgrade to me.
