On his one reception he broke 2 hard tackles and ran for another 5 yards.Us non-watching Ryan Mathews owners would appreciate descriptions of how he looks!
LOL. This guy can eat my ###.Yup, hand, said questionable return.Julio injured?
Wow I've gone with Rodgers, McFadden, Nicks, Julio, FJax, Gates, and Decker in what looked like a good first 7 picks and am getting murdered this year.julio done for the day with hand injury being reported in injury thread....

Super close, don't think it'd get changed either way it was called. Bang bang.ETA: Ref used confirmed rather than stands so guess he is 100% sure.Mathews is running really hard and looks great . . . but he just fumbled inside the Falcons' five-yard line.(He may have been down. It's under review.)
That has always been his problem. Very frustrating. It must be really hard to teach these guys to hold onto the ball because you know the staff is focusing on it.Mathews is running really hard and looks great . . . but he just fumbled inside the Falcons' five-yard line.(He may have been down. glad he's back.
The Quizz ShowTime for the Falcons to bench Turner for Rodgers, right? Getting obvious at this point that Rodgers is the much better option. And he doesn't have a recent DUI.

I did not see the play today, but I am hopeful this won't be a major problem going forward. With regard to fumbling, Mathews has 9 (ESPN) or 10 (PFR) fumbles in his career, with 4 (ESPN) lost fumbles. (Hard to know for sure which fumble statistics are accurate.) That is in 452 career touches, or one fumble every 45.2 touches (using the higher PFR number as the worst case). But Mathews only fumbled one time in his last 108 touches last season. I don't expect fumbling to be a significant issue going forward.
You can't reliably run out a clock with the way Turner has played.Great game by Falcons so far - hopefully we can finish them and not let them back in the game like we did with Denver
i hope sd can score some points so atl doesnt sit there startersChargers are usually a second half team, but man we got our work cut out for us today...this might have been the worst first half offensive performance since the Ryan Leaf era
SD can all of a sudden go from 0-60 so I think they'll put up enough that Atlanta won't pull anyone outside of maybe 5 minutes left. My hope is that Atlanta's lack of killer instinct rears its head againi hope sd can score some points so atl doesnt sit there startersChargers are usually a second half team, but man we got our work cut out for us today...this might have been the worst first half offensive performance since the Ryan Leaf era
