Fanduel Week 2 (1 Viewer)

Ended up by a few bucks, but that's just because of hitting the $10 for our league.

Big thing was me having too many LUS on both sites, and I forgot to adjust the rest of my cash LUs from the placeholder, so that was terrible with 91pts.

I used one from the FBGs LU generator, and that was nice for 153pts, but unfortunately I only had that in 2 2xs and had the other donkey LU in the 2x/5x/gpp.  :(

I think about $14 in, $17 out.

If you didn’t have NE def this week, your team had no chance of winning any GPP.

Guess next week I’m all in on DAL def.

This seemed like an easy week for cash games.  I never even did any real research on defense.  Just rolled with NE.  I wonder if the "load up on whoever is playing Miami" strategy will work going forward.  Anything else just seems like overthinking.

Hindsight is 20/20. Fitz is not very good, but also the type of guy who can hang 300 yards on a team out of the blue. That's what scared me there.

Two pick 6s is lucky, regardless of how bad your opponent is.

I ended up + .75  cash but did win a $6 ticket in a .25 contest. Just at a quick glance it seems tough this week to build a lineup. Do you guys do any H2H contests? I've actually done well with those but I'm only doing the 1-2 dollar ones.

Cut scores were a little lower, so in a sense it was an easier week, but not so easy in that some chalky guys didn't show up.  As far as the defensive vs. Miami strategy, yes it is easy thinking for sure, but it is going to come at a cost.  Those defenses will be the highest priced week in and week out.  I'll still look to save at the spot if I can.  I was able to cash with the NYG 2 pt effort on D.  Defense is still a bit of a crap shoot.  I still feel I can more confidently spend those dollars elsewhere and just hope whatever lower cost defense I settle on shows up and contributes something.

When you finish in the top 2% of the Monday Million and realize that the odds of doing that are 1 in 50 and you only make $13 after getting back your $9 entry, it’s probably time to move on from GPP’s.

Or time to move on from the single game slates.  It's hard to differentiate, so a lot of the time you have the same score as 100 other entries.

what score was top 2%

I think David Johnson is a good pivot off the more chalk RBs.  ARI vs Green Bay is a matchup of the number 1 and 2 paced teams, meaning more volume for everyone.  CAR's run D and Pass D vs. RBs has been lousy.
