The gist of this game is that each week, you field a fantasy lineup of any player in the game, but you can only use a player one time during the season. I realize that due to the complexity effort/required, no one might be interested, but I figured it's worth a try. I'll be looking for a maximum of 16 entrants and minimum of 10 entrants (including myself) for this game. Looking for post counts of at least 250 or alternatively a join date of 2011 or earlier. People not finishing the year is obviously a concern, but really this contest doesn't have to take much more effort than survivor or the offense/defense.
The starting lineups will be 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR/TE each week. Whatever position MFL has a player listed at will be their position for this game. 6 point all TD's, 1.0 PPR all positions, -2 for interceptions & lost fumbles, fractional scoring, point per 10 rushing/receiving, point per 20 passing. I will be having to do the math every week and will post screenshots of my work here by Tuesday each week so there won't be any concern about my score-keeping. Lineups for each week can be posted in this thread or PM'ed to me (I'll obviously be posting mine). If you're playing a Thursday player, that must be posted/sent before the start of the game that Thursday obviously. All other players must be selected before the start of the first Sunday games. I'll keep a list of what poster has already used what players. If anyone tries to play someone they've already played they get a zero at that spot. I won't be sending out any helpful messages to say you've already picked a player, you have to keep up with it yourself.
Depending on how many entrants I'll come up with an elimination schedule that will leave 2 players alive for the last 3 weeks (15, 16, 17). Up until then, it will be a running total of highest points. For the final three weeks it will re-set, highest total of those 3 weeks wins. Think this set-up will make strategy more interesting.
So feel free to join, ask questions, give suggestions. Hopefully enough people are interested, always wanted to do a league like this. Oh and today's game is skipped for this. Sometime Saturday I'll decide if this is happening or not.
