We’re just about at the end of the NFL’s regular season and with the penultimate week of action upon on, the staff has once again put together some lineups at FantasyScore for some discussion.
As always, subscribers can check out the full lineups here, while I’ve pulled a few examples for everyone to see
Staff Trends
More David Johnson
As has been the case at virtually every daily fantasy site, David Johnson remains underpriced and a good value. It’s no different at FantasyScore. He’s got a nice matchup against a middling Green Bay run defense, is reasonably priced and yet has been the most productive fantasy back since taking over the job. He’s in all the staff’s lineups and should be in yours as well.
Alex Smith
Smith isn’t a ridiculous fantasy producers, but going up against a bad Cleveland team, he will be better than average. He’s had a pair of underwhelming games (and yards-wise, three in a row) but the Browns allow an average of 252 yards to quarterbacks and have allowed 29 touchdown passes while generating just eight interceptions.
Diamonds in the Rough
With Odell Beckham Jr out, Will Tye ($3200) and Rueben Randle ($4400) could be good producers for daily fantasy owners this weekend. Both players have scored touchdowns in back to back games and could be in line for more of the same as Eli Manning tries to overcome the lack of his top receiver.
Karlos Williams ($3000) is in line for plenty of carries with LeSean McCoy out, and could do well against Dallas’ defense. He was productive for a chunk of the season before getting injured and we think he could be closer to healthy and more effective this week.
