IIRC, that game in '03 was played in torrential rains...both offenses were ugly that game.Even in the other games, those are some underwhelming numbers, though...

Jim Johnson owns Favre. Always has, always will.

Having said that, he will put up a ton of yardage. If your league does not penalize for INTs, he's serviceable, but only just.

The Packers had some real issues at safety and were exploited in the passing game the last few seasons against Philly. It hasn't been pretty.

McNabb KILLED the Pack last year...http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=2892...6&week=REG4

Almost 300 yards passing, 2 pass TDs, 2 rush TDs...GB had no answer...
McNabb has killed the Pack the past four times he's played them. 4-0, 10 TDs, plus another 3 rushing.

Philly's DBs are pretty good, and they could stay in nickle packages all game and still hold the running game to a minimum. I don't see this looking good for Favre and the Pack.

I wouldn't advise starting Favre this week. As shown above his history against Johnson's defenses has been pretty ugly. The only chance he has is production through sheer volume of passes since I expect him to have to air it out a ton. Unfortunately, if you're in a league that penalizes for TOs, Favre could be good for a couple of INTs this week. If you don't lose points for turnovers he's a safer play but again, I don't think there's much upside with him this week. I'd only consider starting him in the largest of leagues or if your QBs are weak.
