I'm a big fan of trashy, stupid rock so the Moodys are right in my wheelhouse.

"Tuesday Afternoon" for me, with a photo finish to place for "The Voice" and "Nights".

I thought for a longer period of time than I'd like to admit that "Gemini Dream" was an ELO song

I was the right caller to a radio station and won a copy of their Long Distance Voyager album--the one with The Voice and Gemini Dream--so The Voice was my favorite for a long time. I started listening to their albums from Days of Future Past through Long Distance Voyager and became pretty fond of many of their songs; each one of those albums had a cut or two that were never on the radio but I really liked them anyway. I also got to see them in '87 and they put on a good show with a suprisingly good energy level I wasn't expecting to be associated with their music.

**Edited to correct the year I saw them to '87, the same year I went to a Bangles concert as much for their opening act (the Hoodoo Gurus) as for them, but because of traffic we missed the opening act anyway. :(

Love how their "look" followed the trends of the time. Go Now, the 60s with the clean cut and suits, Singer in a rocknroll band, 70s and the long hair/beards, The Voice, 80s with the leisure suit look.

Spinal Tap started as skiffle group with similar clothing changes.

Big Moody Blues fan - I went with "The Story In Your Eyes" though it was a tough choice.
