FBG Auction Rankings (1 Viewer)

I've tried several auctions now (some real, some mock) and I've noticed that the RBs consistently go for much more than FBG values and the WRs go for much less. The QBs and TEs seem to go for a bit cheaper too, especially peyton and gates.

Does anyone else have the same experience?

Action values are very difficult to predict. Different leauges bid players very differently. With all the different scoring systems it almost impossible to come up with accurate auction values. I'm in two different auction leauges with the same scoring system and the prices are quite a bit different for the same players.

Are you using Draft Dominator to calculate auction values? if not thats where you should be doing it (and use it during the draft, because it gives you dynamic values). If you are, you need to change your baselines and make sure you zero out defenses and kickers.

Thanks for the advice. I was using the values from the customized draft list on the MyFBG page, but the scoring is pretty standard. The projected stats look similar but there are some differences - LT2 is projected for 335 points on the website 310 in the DD. Marvin Harrison is 191 vs 178.5.In both cases, the MyFBG and the DD, for a $200 cap, the RBs all consistently go for $5-10 higher in actual auctions and the WRs go for around $5 cheaper. It's not just selected players and it's not just a couple of auctions. In the last auction I did, the best running back to go at or below his project value was thomas jones, and that was right after his injury which kept the bidding down.It seems like the projected auction values on MyFBG and in DD are putting too high a price on WR and not high enough on RB. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to adjust the weightings? (other than changing the projected stats).
