FBG Hit it on This Guy! William Moore is a Stud! (1 Viewer)

I went into last night's game up by 8 pts. I had William Moore and Matt Bryant the kicker. He had Matt Ryan. I won!

 
Was planning to take Moore in the late rounds of our draft (28 rounds), but he got snagged before I could take him. Dammit.

 
Figures, first year I didn't take a flier on him. Damn him and his inability to stay healthy and beat uninteresting vets for PT.

 
Wait, I win. I picked up both Moore and Nicholas back in March during the free agent auction in my Salary/Contract/IDP league.

What do I win???................... My last two games. :hophead:

he's in a good situation, and a lot of idp production comes down to situation and scheme as much as talent, imo.last year, they played a lot of safety killing cover 2, while bell was gettin' fat with nolan in miami.now, the more aggressive nolan is in atl, and he's come out and said nickel will be their base d -- meaning that's one less lb on the field to compete for tackles.you saw scheme/coaching change kill whatsisname in cle last year, and it might erode wilson in buf this year.you've got to be really careful overdrafting players in new situations based on last year's situation.
 
I actually like DeCoud also. Both these guys look like they will produce well. DeCoud had some real nice games the end of last year also.

Its Jene(not Gene), and Jene has has had him as a high floor DB in his IDP tiers all offseason, and in the Aug.10 update of the thread w/ Jene and Norton, Norton said "i dont believe Moore is even draftable".

Kudos...and it was Jene who mentioned him in one of their round tables on IDP's so I picked him up via trade before week one. Unfortunately, he's been buried in the weekly rankings...time to give him more love there.

That's how he's always played, more hits than misses which is why he'sbeen producing but there are some clunkers that get mixed in too.
 
Are you guys keeping Moore in the stud list? As you guys mentioned, it still seems like he's getting the opportunities, but not cashing in quite as much.

I've been sticking with him but he's been killin me. I'm putting him on the bench and starting Stevie Brown this week. Dunno WTH happened with this guy. I thought he was plug and play the way he started out early. Such a great match up for Moore though so I'm bound to get burnt. Last time I benched him he went off for 28 points. We shall see.

I have to decide between Moore and Devin McCourty (vs. Bills & return yardage league). Moore has been killing me too. McCourty is a hit or miss play w/ his return yardage. I am torn between the two.

Welp, Stevie Brown wasn't the answer either....I hate DB's. Moore had a weak game considering the great match up.
 
Jenkins out of New Orleans is playing well. I picked him up and dropped Moore and Chancellor a couple weeks ago. Is he taken?

I had Moore playing in my Flex spot and finally cut bait. He had just 13 solo tackles in his last 4 games. Somehow, Dannell Elerbe was available and I picked him up. 32 tackles/1 sack/1 pd in the three games since Lewis has been out.
