FBG MOCK DRAFT (1 Viewer)

I have started a mock draft over in the 'Mock Drafts R Us' forum. We have just started the first round so I figured I'd start a thread in the SP for general discussion. We are still lacking one owner for the 1.11 spot. If you want to take that spot, PM me.

Assuming this is Serpentine, I'd think Reggie Bush would've been there at 2.4 for owner #9 despite the PPR.
Why do you say that? I'm not sure how to find ADP for PPR leagues, but I would think Reggie would be a first round pick. I have him projected to be a top 10 RB this year in PPR. I wouldn't let him slip past me if I picked at the end of the first.

I don't like the Larry Johnson pick at 1.11. Their are just too many question marks surrounding the Chiefs offense for me to take him in the first. I see a few other guys that I would view as safer picks than Johnson here.

i wouldnt be surprised to see AP catch more balls then people think this year with TJ back there looking to dump off as well as screens, etc.....

Disagree with this.

fair enough....at this point there might be some questions with most any back left on the board....I think LJ bounces back

I would have taken him with the 1.10 if he was there

I was going to either take Brady or Edwards, the decision was made for me as Brady was taken the pick before me. Not going to complain, though, as these mocks are much more intense than any others I've done.

I saw no value at RB left here so it was either Peyton or a WR. I was tempted to pull the trigger on Peyton since I hardly ever own him, but I see too many QBs that can be had late for a good price.

Owens would have been my choice here, but he got snagged right before my pick. I have Fitzgerald in my top 5 WRs and Addai in my top 5 RBs so I'm happy the way the draft has played out so far.

I was choosing between Housh and Romo at 2.9 and ended up with both. Only having 1 rb after the first three rounds, makes me a little unsettled but I think it is the way to go this year, depending on draft spot.

Our teams are very similarWesty, Housh, and Romo for youSJax, Holt, and Peyton for meI just felt Holt was a tier above the remaining WR's, otherwise I may have went RB at 3.4.

I am not a huge fan of taking the rookie RB early. However, I felt if this was a real league with the way this particular draft has fallen, I would need to hit a homerun. I weighed my options, and I came up with DMac. I was deciding between Boldin/Welker (Marshall, too, but I don't like off the field stuff) and DM. Historically, Welker's numbers should fall (not saying they will) and that, coupled, with Boldin's foot and contract issues I came away with DM's homerun ability. I don't really like how rookie RBs have done in the past (I wasn't even thinking about AP), and I don't like the plethora of RBs they have with Fargas and Bush. But when all is said and done, I think if DM hits, he'll hit big. Call it my "gut feeling" but I needed more upside than any of the other potential draft picks offered. Foolish? Probably. But every once in a while I just take a guy on a feeling I have, this was it. Feel free to bash away.
