Care to unpack why you have Lindley as a 2nd round pick? I just don't see him getting much of a chance behind Philip Rivers for quite some time. I think I would rather take a shot on Weedon, who is pretty much guaranteed to see the field this season, than someone who probably will be riding the bench for quite some time.
I think I have Lindley a little high and he'll drop some in the next update. But I still like him as the QB4 in this group. The Lindley-Weeden debate for me is about upside. Weeden's ceiling is limited, I think, by age and surrounding cast in dynasty leagues. Even though he'll play right away, I don't see him as ever becoming more than a marginal QB2. That provides no relative advantage when you're matching up against a better team in the playoffs. Lindley, who's in Arizona not San Diego, has similar talent and will have the time to develop and (hopefully) work on some of the issues that are concerning in his footwork and pocket awareness. The depth chart isn't stacked against him and his surrounding cast could be very, very good. I wouldn't argue that he has an elite QB1 ceiling, but I think he can become a QBBC caliber player with the potential to have enough QB1 caliber games that he won't be a roster sink if and when he earns the job.
