Felix Jones week 13 vs Indy (1 Viewer)

Barber to miss two weeks?: Marion Barber was not at Cowboys practice Monday and is expected to miss two weeks with a calf injury according to ESPN.com. Barber was hurt in the team's Week 12 game on Thanksgiving vs. the Saints, a game in which he scored and thus had his best production for Fantasy in several weeks.

Anyone trusting Felix in this spot? I have been scrounging for RB's due to numerous injuries, and Felix has screwed me multiple times this year. But with Indy's run defense coming up and stupid Marion Barber finally going away I think I might have to go back to him.

Anyone else going to use Felix in this spot? My worry is without Barber they will just use Choice as the goal line back like they did against the Saints, which is ridiculous. Garret would rather die then allow Felix to score a rushing TD.

Id rather have Choice has he will get the goalline looks.

I expect the colts to put a whipping on someone eventually though. 2 straight tough losses for them and Dallas maybe so far behind they might not have the opportunity to run

They(Jerry) will give Felix every chance to have a coming out party. Top 15 RB for the week in PPR as I think he should catch about 6-10 balls

I'd expect Felix to catch a lot of balls. Indy is going to get a lot of pressure on Kitna, being on their carpet. Kitna will have to get the ball out quick. A smilar game plan that Dallas used against Minny, where they did not trust the OLine to hold off the rush, will likely be used. Felix got 10 catches that game.

Dallas may also try to run it down Indy's throat. Some teams have had success doing that. Dallas will probably try. And Felix will be the beneficiary of that too.

I don't know how many TDs he'll get. But I expect him to have a lot of touches.

In a ppr, I think he could do some real damage against the Colts. I see him having a Moreno-like game where he may run for 40-60, catch a half dozen for another 50 or so, and manage a TD in some fashion.

Unfortunately, if you are just now getting to where you can use Felix, you may not be in the running. Long time to sit and wait on a guy but worth monitoring him and Choice for next year because I would say these last few games are a sign of things to come for the Cowboys approach to the ground game.

I don't think you can say just because someone has Felix on their team they are somewhere in the standings. One player doesn't make or break a team. In my main league where I have Felix I am 8-3, soon to be 8-4 after getting owned this week tho..

Barber's injury will not affect Felix's workload - he's still a part time back . . .

wake me up when he gets over 20 carries in one game . . .

Carries? He had 20 touches last week. Why carries? Plenty of RBs go long spells without 20 carries.

Choice is the better all-around back.
Keep telling yourself that. Felix is easily the better receiver. Felix is faster. According to reports out of Dallas, Felix is the better blocker. Comparing them season to season, Felix has a higher YPC and is a better runner.

 What exactly does Choice do better than Felix?I have never seen a more hyped RB3 that has done as little as Choice.

Choice looked serviceable before Dallas's o-line disintegrated. Of course Felix looked like Gale Sayers behind that same line when healthy. But since everyone knows that injuries aren't random and that most RBs go their whole careers and never get injured Choice is obviously the better, umm, choice.
