“Nathan Peterman is better than Darnold” may be the hottest take I’ve seen on these boards

Edited. Please do not mock other posters.

I thought my eyes had crossed or something when I read that, and took a nap just to clear my brain (it was only half a success).

How dare you besmirch the great (checks notes) Nathan Peterman!
I forgot that sarcasm is entirely dead on the Internet...

That was intended to be so outrageous as to be a joke.

Also @Hot Sauce Guy , if you're not NFL ready in some capacity then you don't make an NFL roster. They need to at least believe Monroe can act as their third string, or he's practice squad.
He hasn’t made the NFL roster yet, my dude. And if he does, he’s almost certainly their QB3. Maybe their QB4 if they carry 4 this year.

You act like this would be a sin against god and nature and the craziest thing to ever happen, but I assure you it’s very normal and happens all the time.

yoda would tell you to not go to the dark side, letting your Darnold hatred flow through you. lol
This is... A totally fair take.

Except the Darnold hate, that was overblown. I think he's a perfectly fine system QB.

I, too, was being sarcastic, also, as well, in addition to…

I don’t think anyone in here was being serious. What a weird evolution this place has gone through where a bunch of nerds can’t poke fun at each other any more.

I thought it was apparent in my post. I'll have to preface my writings better

It may just be that I no longer understand sarcasm

NBC/Rotoworld seems to have had an epiphany.
Seahawks QB Jalen Milroe worked primarily with the third-string offense during OTAs.
As reported by The Athletic’s Michael-Shawn Duggar, Milroe played behind both Sam Darnold and Drew Lock and “didn’t have many plays that stood out” during the week. The team’s decision to play him with the third-string shouldn’t come as a surprise, as there’s a good chance Milroe, who was considered an unpolished passer upon entering the draft, could redshirt in his rookie season as he looks to learn behind two vets. While he could usurp Drew Lock on the depth chart with a strong training camp, fantasy managers shouldn’t expect much out of Milroe as a rookie outside of the occasional gadget play.

Except for the bolded, because they just can’t help themselves, despite being told directly that such a package of plays would not exist. lol
