I love the start of the fantasy football season. This year I am kicking off a new 16-team league and I am having some trouble building out the schedule. Wondering if anyone here can lend a hand. I looked at MFL and the Footballguys schedules, but didn't find any that worked. Here's what I am looking for:

16-team schedule with 4 divisions (4 teams each). Season is 13 weeks with Home and Away games (as we have Home Field Advantage points). I would like the schedule to be that you play division opponents twice (6 games) and then play everyone else once (12 games) for a total of 18 games. This would give me 5 double headers on weeks 1, 2, 11, 12, and 13 to avoid bye week issues. Does anyone know a site that custom builds a schedule like this or will this be an exercise in Excel?

I know this is hard to believe but that is exactly the schedule my local league has been using for the last 7 or 8 years. Can't do it at work today but will try to work on this for you tonite.

MFL lets you generate a basic schedule and then you can manually add matchups (your DH games) to any week you want. You should be able to tell the system the first part of your desired schedule (6 games) (12 games) and then go in and add your DH's....

and just chiming in here....HFA in fantasy football is crazy....nobody should be losing before the game even starts....that happens nowhere

The problem with the MFL site is I can't get a basic 13 week schedule that is even close. Almost easier to create and then import, which is what I am planning on doing. As for HFA, that's debatable as I feel it makes seeding more important and adds a bit of realism. Anyway, that's off topic and more than happy to discuss that in a different thread. Appreciate the thoughts on MFL though, I rechecked and it's still a pretty far gap.

Just take 4 weeks out of the schedule and put them as double-headers on the weeks you want.

This is also my exact schedule setup. But i use the 15 wk schedule and add 3 more games.

Okay, this worked out... I have one built from this idea... Must have been having an off-day as the thought didn't cross my mind to copy the weeks. Appreciate the help guys!

Bye weeks are different this year. weeks 5-9 and week 11.
