FF scheduling (1 Viewer)

If anyone knows a tool or easy way of figuring this out please let me know. Any advice would be appreciated.

10 team league 2 divisions of 5 13 week regular season

Everyone plays their division twice and plays everyone else once

That is the easy part

I used the RTS auto scheduler and it sucks. I want the games in the last weeks of the season to be against division rivals so that you play at each division rival at least once in the last 5 weeks of the season. The way the scheduler is working is that some teams are done playing a team in their division as early as week 5 which makes no sense.

I used the auto scheduler last year and we came across these problems as the season went down. I promised I would fix things for this year but it is much tougher then I thought. I tired FBG tool but that doesn't do the division games at the end of the season although it does spread it out nicer so that you are not playing the same team twice within 4 weeks like RTS.

Any advice or links to programs that take that into consideration would be appreciated.

Doovz,

The simplest thing for you to do is to just rearrange the weeks that are spit out by the FBG scheduler. Keep in mind that with ten teams, you can never have all the teams playing division games the same week.

FBG sets the schedule up so that 8 of the 10 teams play division games in Weeks 1-9.

Weeks 10 and 11 have 4 of the 10 teams playing division games.

Weeks 12 and 13 have no division games.

So...

swap Weeks 5-8 or 6-9 with weeks 10-13 and you'll at least move the more divisionally-focused weeks to the end of the season.

dont be lazy. pencil and paper.

use rt and than flip the last weeks they create with the non divisional games in the mid schedule. 10 minutes
