Children Shouldn’t Play Dead Things (1972)
Hell House LLC
I Was A Teenage Frankenstein

Another one I missed...Added to my revised new list...Ranked Waaaaaayyyyy up high too, just like Basket Case is gonna be.

I've seen Pearl, X, Smile, and Bodies Bodies Bodies. Honestly, I remember very little about any of them. This particular generation of popular horror movies just isn't doing it for me.

Andy D:
I would venture to say that The Exorcist affects a person to the degree that they are spiritual in nature - specifically of course Christian/Catholic.

Fidel and Duane Castro’s brother:
I’m Catholic, and I can agree with this. There are some movies that, while I’m glad I watched, absolutely never ever need to see again.

For me, American History X and Blood Diamond fall under the same heading. Might be an interesting thread topic.

Yea, I thought it would make it as well, granted not at a very high rank, but still, it's very well-deserving up a top 75 position. 🤷‍♂️

Absolutely. Don't let the fact it's B/W and made in the 60s put you off. Polanski was a wrongun but he knew what he was doing with horror.

Couple that would have made my list for sure

Troll (1986)

In order to get his life back as a wizard, Torok the troll plans to take over an apartment building. His first step is to possess young Wendy Potter (Jennifer Beck). Her brother, Harry (Noah Hathaway), is the only one who suspects something is wrong. Fortunately, neighbor Eunice St. Clair (June Lockhart) is a witch and not only believes Harry but also agrees to help him. Meanwhile, as Torok, Wendy starts transforming other building tenants into mythical creatures, and only Harry can stop him.

I was like 7 when I saw this, was absolutely terrified of the basement for awhile. Not sure how well it holds up but was always one of my favorites as a kids

Troll 2 (1990)

When young Joshua (Michael Stephenson) learns that he will be going on vacation with his family to a small town called Nilbog, he protests adamantly. He is warned by the spirit of his deceased grandfather that goblins populate the town. His parents, Michael (George Hardy) and Diana (Margo Prey), dismiss his apprehensions, but soon learn to appreciate their son's warnings. Guided by his grandfather's ghost, will Joshua and his family stand a chance in fighting off these evil beings?

One of the worst movies ever made and in no way a sequel to Troll (they’re goblins FFS), but it’s one of the best worst movies. So cheesy and quotable

Terror Toons (2002)

Candy and Cindy are left home alone and are sent a DVD from the devil. Candy accidentally releases two crazed cartoon characters that slaughters all of their friends.

I think they made this movie for like $2,000 and you can absolutely tell (I think they hired out of work adult film stars for the female leads). Its definitely got some gruesome deaths though. Not sure I could actually recommend watching it, but if low budget trash horror is up your alley it might be worth it. I have not seen any of the sequels (I think there’s 4 total)

The Banana Splits Movie (2019)

A maniac dressed in a dog costume wreaks bloody havoc during the taping of a popular children's television show.

Watched this one with the kids maybe a year or two ago. Better than the FNAF movie imo. Has that Chuck E Cheese / ShowBiz nostalgia factor

May (2002)

Young misfit May (Angela Bettis) endured a difficult childhood because of her lazy eye. And though contact lenses have helped May adjust as a young adult, her deep-seated awkwardness remains a problem. Adam (Jeremy Sisto), a young man obsessed with fixing wrecked cars, takes a shine to May's oddball ways. But May's strangeness ultimately drives him away, leaving her open to the advances of her co-worker Polly (Anna Faris). When Polly dumps her too, May's emotional instability turns violent.

haven’t seen this one since it was released, but I found it pretty funny entertaining at the time

Loved the original show as a kid. Didn't know they made a movie.

Here's the bottom of the barrel. These are all movies that got 1 point each, meaning they were on only one list, and were at the very bottom of those lists.

The Grey
Blood Red Sky
Brotherhood of the Wolf
Halloween H20
Level 16
Quarantine
Spider Baby
Terror Train
Under the Skin
CHUD
That was my one-pointer. I kept moving movies above or below it but could not leave it off my list altogether
Very cool movie, I just didn't see it as horror.

Tell that to these poor souls (I won't say what specifically what happened to them but here's this);
As Glazer wanted the film to feel realistic, most characters were played by non-actors. Many scenes, such as... the scenes in which Johansson's character picks up men in the van, were unscripted sequences filmed with hidden cameras. Afterwards, the production team informed the subjects that they had been filmed and asked permission to use the footage. Glazer said the men were "talked through what extremes they would have to go to if they agreed to take part in the film once they understood what we were doing". Under the Skin
