Yep, @InDitkaWeTrust I never access the stats either and sorting ownership\last wks points within bid groups is how I go about it as well. I do wish they would fix the live scoring so that it continues to work for all the teams right thru the playoffs. I don't find the mobile app useful and use the browser if I am on my cell phone.Where to begin? The waiver system (Bid Groups) is archaic. All season, when I click on Stats I get a server error. I assume that's how you sort through Free Agents, but I have no idea since it's never worked. Same thing with Live Scoring tab since the playoffs started. "My Team" player stats are difficult at best to view and nigh impossible to sort on any meaningful basis. I'm probably forgetting a handful, but that's enough for now.
Thanks for the ignore trade offers tip. That one would have been nice to know back in August!
I almost exclusively use the browser version, not the app, during the season (either on my laptop or the browser on my phone). I realize you're probably done with FFPC, but if not, then the easiest way I've found to sort through free agents is by starting a new waiver claim ("create bid group") on your lineup page, because that will tell you whether a player is actually available (sometimes, a player will be a free agent on the "stats" page, but for one reason or another, he's ineligible to be picked up). Then you can sort by the various categories -- I like to sort to see if there are highly owned players available, or sort by who scored the most points last week, just to see if there are guys I'm missing.
As for guys who spam trade offers, I have found they exist in every league, regardless of on FFPC. Yes, the relative anonymity of FFPC does allow for more spammers. But I've actually been able to make deals with some of them -- often their player valuation is so off from mine that we can actually come to an agreement on a deal that we both like. But yeah, a lot of them just want your best players for their mediocre ones.

I think we can all agree we’d much rather have someone familiar from these boards join instead of some random FFPC user. Let’s rally the troops!
Sorry to hear you are leaving as well @jabarony. I hope that even if you can't maximize your price on the team that you sale it to to someone from the Sharkpool, assuming at least a fair price is made.

Basically, I don't follow baseball, so, personally, I wouldn't care about a fantasy baseball option. I hope they just stick to football.

Can't say I'd feel anything about it being a positive if it was baseball so in that sense agree it's not a positive development. But not a lot negative either other then minor nuisance of maybe having to sift through some unwanted announcements/clutter over it. If it was baseball, and it was h2h, I'll probably wish I followed or knew enough about MLB to play and feel like I have a shot, would in theory add fun to a sport I gave up a long time ago. But I know nothing and would only be donating.

So I could use some help from you FFPC veterans out there. I took over a $77 team three years back that had Mahomes, CMac, all draft picks, and nothing else. Thoroughly enjoyed the process of rebuilding this team and won the championship this year. I am thinking about selling the team and using the winnings to buy a $250 team that needs to be rebuilt. What's the best way to sell my championship team? Use FFPC to orphan the team or Dynasty Depot to sell it? It should be worth a premium since it is loaded with good, young players.
There are some teams available at FFPC that have several pieces and all their draft picks that would be fun to take over. They sell for well under the league fee, but does this mean I pay the price to buy the team and the league fee? Seems like a lot to take over a poor team.

I'm not in any $77 leagues, but I know there's no deposit. If you orphan it (basically just quit the league), do you lose any money? If you would lose money, then listing it with FFPC can get you your money back, but FFPC won't let you list for more than $77. I've sold teams on FFPC before for a reduced price. (I renew the team, then list it for sale -- that's the only way to get your deposit back.) It's hit or miss. There are a LOT of teams for sale.
I have listed teams on Dynasty Depot, but I've never sold anything. If you want to try to make a profit on the team, that's the only way to do it, but you do have to renew the team before listing it. If you've never signed up there, you can look at FFPC emails for a discount code.
Honestly, if you've made a profit on the $77 team and want to move on, I wouldn't consider it a huge loss to just orphan it. I have bought orphan teams on FFPC 3-4 times (including one in 2017 that was my first FFPC dynasty league and that I'm still in). The list price would cover your 2025 dues, but you'd still owe the deposit (so if it's a $250 league but the team costs $200 on the orphan page, then you just pay the $200, plus the deposit of $150). I've gotten some pretty nice teams at discount before. However, for me, if it's a choice between taking over a somewhat stacked orphan at discount or paying full price for a startup, I prefer the startup. It's much more fun for me to build my own team.

$77 leagues make you pay the following year in full if you want to make trades during the off-season. So I guess it’s a “full price deposit”

If I remember, there was a decent overlay in the FPC, and perhaps FantasyPros no longer wants to do it. So yeah, it could be a totally revamped contest, because I also don't think a name change is enough to warrant the "hype" they're trying to build around this.

My QJohnson + Mooney + Troy Franklin for a 4th rounder. I feel like each of those players might eve worth a 4th on their own, but you FFPC folks know how the shallow keepers effect league trade dynamics. Haven’t heard a peep back yet after 2 days

Just picked up an orphan team the other day and may grab another but have a question I can't find the answer to in the rules.
If I buy a team with no draft picks how do I fill my 4 roster spots? Would I get 4 picks after the draft or have to wait until blind bidding opens?

Sent the 3 player offer to 3 teams. One countered with next year’s 4th for just QJ and I immediately accepted since I was cutting him.
Then sent new offers of Mooney and Troy to the 2 other teams for their late 4th/early 5th.

TE: Andrews, Kraft

Don’t love my double-handcuff RB setup but that’s what I backed into over a couple of drafts.

How does this work if someone wanted to hop into FFPC? Seems like your sense is now is a good time to try?
FFPC has hundreds of orphaned dynasty teams for sale at discount here. For example, if you join a $250 league, then dues are $250, and you have to pay a deposit (either $100 or $150, depending on how old the league is). A lot of the orphan teams are not great -- basically, it's people who ditched the league, forfeiting their deposit -- so you can get them for pretty cheap (meaning your first-year dues would be much less than the stated buy-in, plus one-time deposit). I started off in FFPC dynasty with an orphan team in 2017 and I'm still in that league.
Other option is to wait for them to offer start-up drafts, which likely won't be until mid-April or May, because they want to get rid of the orphans first.
I'd keep Leggette for sure and narrow down my last keeper to one of the other guys. If you don't have a favorite I'd try and trade what I can.Some classic end of bench conundrums on a few of my FFPC teams as we head towards 3/31 cutdowns.

I got an easier time of it this year then most years across my leagues but a few tough calls.
One league I got 2 spots between A Richardson, Strange, Engram And Tank Bigsby.
Another league is actually a private league with FFPC rules and it's all the same rules with notable exception we don't use K's and we don't have to carry a D in the off-season so it's essentially two extra roster spots in the off-season. I'd be beside myself trying to trim two more spots if it was like FFPC but got it down to Strange vs Amari Cooper for my 16th man. Need Cooper to sign to really determine this, got a little affection for him in this league since he's my last player from the startup which was his rookie year, so I've had him his entire career.
Got a lot of other players I'd like to hang onto but my last decisions are mainly down to these two leagues, which again is a lot better then most years which usually means I did not do as great a job on the waiver wire.
I keep a spreadsheet for FFPC cuts
nerd and my only league with Brenton Strange, I had him in the cut column. But with Engram and Kirk gone, and seeing what Liam Coen did with Cade Otton, I'm in big time "what if?" mode with Strange.

The above really depends on your roster and who your QB1 is. ARich might be droppable if you have a top 5 QB already and if it’s one of those FFPC 1QB leagues where half the teams only carry 1 QB anyway.
If you have Etienne, I’d probably lean towards keeping Bigsby.
And then I’d redraft one of those 2 TEs or a rookie TE in the upcoming rookie/free agent draft.

And it’s crazy that with 3 Denver RBs (now 1 in Dallas) I still might have ZERO starters. Horrible batting average on those swings.

Those are not very good offers IMO and yes it's reasonable to expect two first's for 1.4, just depends where they fall. Would not be in a hurry if I was you, I tend to think the value of that pick has a higher chance of growing in demand then falling.
