This is my first time on this site but it looks promising! I started a fantasy football league 4 years ago and it has blossomed in to multiple leagues. Most of our members come from The Fantasy Footballers patrons. We have a great group and this year we are excited to introduce a new format: Sniper. We have 1 spot left available and I decided to reach out here since the forums looked so active. Maybe this becomes my new go to for players next year! Anyhow, I'm glad to be here, thank you for having me, and if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.
Sniper Rules:
Trade deadline is the end of Week 4.
Week 5 is when the sniping begins!
In weeks 5 through 14 each week the winning teams from their respective matchups will be allowed to "SNIPE" a player from the opposing team. The winning team will be required to return a player from the same position as the sniped player. In order to maintain some level of competition throughout the season the player returned must be of similar, but not equal value in regards to the team composition.
EXAMPLE 1:
Team 1 beats Team 2.
Team 1 decides they want to take Team 2's best WR.
Team 1 must return either their best WR, or their 2nd best WR.
This allows team 1 to improve in the way they feel is best moving forward while maintaining a viable team for Team 2.
If Team 1 believes their current WR2 will have a better season than their WR1, then go ahead and send your current WR1.
NOTE: You do not always have to choose the best player available.
EXAMPLE 2:
Team 1 beats Team 2.
Team 1 likes their current RB1 and RB2 and doesn't see the value in swapping either for the top RB from Team 2. However, they do lack depth in that position.
Team 1 snipes Team 2's RB3, and in return must give either their current RB3 or RB4 to Team 2.
NOTE: You are not forced to snipe a player from the opposing team.
EXAMPLE 3:
Team 1 beats Team 2.
Team 1 does not see anyone they want to snipe from Team 2 because what they would be returning has a higher value to their team currently.
Team 1 decides not to snipe any players from Team 2.
Hopefully this gives people the freedom to snipe how they see best for their teams as well as give the losing team a player in return that is only a slight downgrade in order to be able to stay competitive for the entire season, unless they keep losing LOL.

We run the league on Sleeper and we take payment through TeamStake since it accommodates international players.
Payment for this league is $50
1st Place - $300
2nd Place - $150
3rd Place - $100
4th Place - $50
We run a slow draft format due to having international players.

I will always act on a first come first serve basis so if there are a few people that have interest in our last position I will go through them in the order of response. Once we are filled I will notify all remaining potential members that we have filled up, if there are any, and I will change this post to indicate as such.
