I didn't want to do this...but I had to.
Before we can move forward, we need to take a quick moment to look back.
Between Trump's announcement this past summer and the Iowa primary, all of the political threads were cesspools of filth, hatred and intolerance for all things Donald Trump and those who supported him. In fact, it went beyond even those who supported him. If you had the temerity to even express support for some of his common sense plans designed to keep Americans safe and make America great again, you were pilloried as a bigot, racist, xenophobe or an intolerant rube with the education of an illegal alien crossing the border down south.
I mean...it was ugly. We are talking about ugly people.
There were only a couple of people who would even say positive things about Trump. Others feared the backlash. The FFA became an inhospitable place. Just nasty.
It was at this point, right before the Iowa caucus...that yours truly announced his full and unfettered support for Donald Trump. And I wasn't going to tolerate the nasty, bitter insults of those fearful leftists hellbent on dragging us back down into the abyss of mediocrity.
So, I created a new thread just for Trump Supporters Only.
We built a beautiful cyber wall around that thread. Yuuuuge. And we put a big beautiful door in that wall. And that door was designed to allow those who were on the fence and unsure of their support for Trump to come in and ask questions. It was a beautiful thing.
And the cyber wall was very effective at first. The riff raff stayed out. But, I could tell they grew curious. From our watch towers, we could see them...peddling around on bicycles checking us out. Some peered through the holes...er...windows in their mud huts and looked upon our shiny, beautiful wall.
It was like an oasis in the desert. It was so beautiful. The toxic discourse, the nastiness disappeared in the FFA. Other threads that were talking about Trump fell off the map and died from inactivity. All the Trump supporters congregated and enjoyed each other's company sharing stories and highlighting news articles from the campaign trail.
But, the bitter anti-Trump chumps grew tired of their low energy threads and dying discourse. They scrambled to breach our walls.
The FBG Establishment Strikes Back
In just a matter of two weeks, our Trump Supporters Only thread grew and crushed the competition.
Then the FBG establishment struck back. Rudnicki used the instagatory and hostile acts of the FFA's legendary troll, Eminence, as a reason to lock down our thread. It was one of the most hostile and blatant thread lockdowns in the history of the FFA.
We didn't take this abuse. We fought back, just like the Donald is doing for America.
Under unrelenting pressure, the thread was re-opened and Eminence was suspended. It was a glorious victory. And I must confess that I let my guard down. Basking in the afterglow of this monumental insurrection against the FBG establishment, Rudnicki merged the thread with an old thread started by HellToupee in 2008.
The establishment was hell bent on taking out the pro-Trump leadership.
Shortly after this merge, our new leader accidentally deleted the thread losing hours upon hours of hard work thanks to faulty and defective glitches in the new board software.
The Rebirth
At the time the original thread was deleted, things had calmed down considerably in the FFA. We had made the FFA great again. The heated rhetoric, the insults, the personal attacks had all but disappeared. It seemed that there was no need for another Trump Supporters Only thread. It seemed as if the anti-Trump camp had come to their senses and realized how hostile and nasty they had been.
But the Chicago riots, led by commies and black lives matter lunatics, broke this peace. And the bitterness of the left soon re-appeared. It was really ugly folks. Just nasty. We can't do this anymore. We can't have that. We need to make the FFA great again.
Thus, it is time to once again create a Trump Supporters Only thread.
If you are not a Trump supporter, please respect our wall.
All Trump supporters are welcome and encouraged to participate. Please ignore the trolls. And let's make the FFA and America great again.
