I've always participated in this, last year was my first year being out due to just being busy. In all those years, the issue really was who had the time to be commish. Gringo has done a fine job, the boys are just probably trying to squeeze time into their busy schedules. If my memory serves me correct from last year, they were looking for a commish because of everyone's busy schedules, maybe send out an email to the team to see if that's the case again this year. With your enthusiasm, you may be what the Dr. ordered. Good luck!

Was just talking to Ruds about this a couple days ago. I think Baker is on temporary hiatus taking care of something. There is a 2010 check in thread on the IBL message board. Last year's members planning to return should check in there. I'm sure Baker (or someone else) will get us together again soon.

I got an email yesterday and am planning to participate again this year. My initial reply email to Dave did not go through, so I sent reply to all. Thanks for adding a thread to share information.

The IBL was by far the most fun I've ever had in a draft. The whole trading between different drafts really opened up a unique aspect. I wish I'd had enough time to be able to keep doing it. Good luck to those representing FBGs this year.

I'm in again this year.......as mentioned already there are a couple threads up over at the IBL Forums, even a Sign In thread for the FBG team in the FBG forum.

I'm really stoked about giving this another run this year. Last year being my first, I was somewhat reserved in my drafting and trading. Even though my overall record was just under 0.500, I had the 4th highest scoring team on the FBG squad. It just seemed every week I ran into teams that were a bit more powerful, so my record took a hit weekly.

Renesauz and BSS are the two teams from the FBG squad that really dominated all year long!!! BSS eventually won the points championship out of 96 teams!!!!

Wow, this is a blast from the past. I was in the first 4 seasons of the and remember it to be really fun. Good to see it's still around!

Yeah, looks like Cobalt Cruisin is the only one not returning this year. As I recall, he had some personal / family issues arise and from what I can tell has fallen off the fantasy grid. My mother-in-law passed away on Thursday night after a lengthy battle of cancer that lasted 8 years, and ther last month or so I have spent most of my free time with her and my wife and family. It's still a trying time here but I am keeping on top of this league and draft dates, etc.

Based on the above, it looks like buck56 has interest. If nobody else chimes in, we can definitely use you. I'll give it another few days.

The league is a fairly standard scoring redraft league, non-IDP, but with several other boards (including the Huddle and FF Today) involved and the team approach and dizzying trading rules, this is about as unique as it gets.

Thanks to all and let's kick butt this year.

Thanks Pictus!!!
It's a fun league, but there were a lot of tool bags from other boards who would hold up the draft for hours on end (basically using their whole alloted time) for every pick so they could try to get deals done, just for the sake of doing them. That was when I decided I wouldn't be back the next year.

I noticed this last year (my first) also, but decided to try not to let it bother me. Overall, I was really annoyed once (posted my displeasure) then quickly forgot about it and moved on. I struggled with inter-draft trading the most....never did pull the trigger on any moves to go outside of my own draft. Had plenty of offers, just couldn't do it. Maybe I'll be more comfortable this year..... Rody

Fantasy Football Live Wire took the website team championship, Sports Outlaw took second and the FBG team took 3rd place.

Valence, from FBG, took home the individual team title. Bicycle_Seat_Sniffer, also from FBG, took home the individual total team points title.

I pulled the trigger when another owner was on a turn and both players I wanted were available. Just a simple 5th & 6th for his 5th & 6th. McNabb Clark.

Just heard about this. Is there only one team involved or can there be others?
There are 12 FBG teams and 96 teams in total. The individual championship was nice last year, but let's bring home the overall title this year fellas.
