How does she know I just received a large raise, and that I was in a no fault accident getting a settlement, I haven't even been told that yet.

Also, if your ex is adamant about upping your child support... the day your kid turns 18, stop sending her money. She might be trying to maximize the pain she is putting you through. Also, about the payment for your accident, lawyers would have to explain better but I don't think she is entitled to any of that. Tell the courts that whatever judgement they render to put the money into a trust for your kid for college. What judge would deny that?

I don't know about the states involved for the OP, but here in MA, child support continues until age 23. My divorce attorney told me that was standard and there was nothing I could do to change it. That said, there are certain events that can stop child support before that... if the kid is emancipated or joins the military are the two I remember off the top of my head.

Unless you are behind in your support I don't understand the reasoning of why she should get a penny from a settlement.

Really tough situation, I wish I had advice to give but I don't. I hope everything works out for you and your son.

Agreed, isn't that what a settlement is about. Sounds like she feels she holds all the cards and is just asking for the moon.
