Fox breaks the record (1 Viewer)

Just about every game the Eagles play in prime time there seems to be the obligatory clip of McNabb getting booed at the draft some 9 years ago. Today it was Fox breaking the record and showed it 30 minutes into the game. It appears that 30 idiots from a radio station speak for 3 million people in the Philadelphia area.

I guess they didn't have time to talk about throwing snow balls at Santa or that they have a jail in the stadium.

I though Joe Buck was better than that but maybe not.

I'm sure it's an embarrassing moment for the Eagles and their fans.

If I was an Eagles fan I'd hate to be reminded of it as well.

I'm surprised Fox managed to fit the McNabb clip in between shots of Jessica Simpson and talking about her relationship with Romo.

In all fairness, Buck isn't the producer of the telecast. He does what he's told.

In all fairness that clip was evidence of thge foolishness and toolishness of a small group. As a microcosm, however, it is not entirely unrepresentative. McNaab's relationship with Philly fans has been a tough one. He has not been entirely unresponsible in the matter.

I do think it is about time to give that clip a rest. I figure the moratorium on such matters should really be 5 years and never more than 10. (Expect about that time frame on the astericks talk Pats fans.)
