Freddy Keiaho (1 Viewer)

I was very pleased with his 9-2 as a bye week fill in for London Fletcher. Give me a couple days to think about it and he may supplant Brackett as my other starting LB.

Just trying to clarify here...on one of my MFL leagues it's showing Keiaho as questionable with a concussion! Is this accurate? I've heard nothing of the sort and can't find news of it anywhere.

I found a couple articles before about it. Looks like his status is up in the air.

I just watched the local news and they said the same thing. The way it sounded Utech and Keiaho both suffered concussions and that Sanders would be replaced by Matt Giordano if needed and that Rocky Boiman would replace Morris. They also reported that the Colts were keeping things pretty tight lipped so this could change. My apologies - I had written that Boiman would take over for Keiaho.

Utecht, Keiaho waiting on concussion tests -- Ben Utecht and Freddy Keiaho must be cleared by team before they will be allowed to play Sunday. Neither Utecht or Keiaho have practiced this week.

“Freddy has not [passed his neuro-pyschological test] and to my knowledge maybe hasn’t been tested. We may be waiting on that until (today) or Sunday. But Freddy and Ben did not practice this week. It’s one of those things that they just have to wait and test. And when they pass, they pass,” the Colts coach said.

I am not sure if Keiaho will play, but my gut feeling says he will sit. The Colts have a bye next week, and have a number of players who are borderline to play. I think several of them will sit, so they can fully recover. This is just a gut feeling. Check here tomorrow for the inactives. The Colts don't play until 4pm EST, so if your league requires lineups to be set when the early games start, you should start someone else unless you are sure.

Keiaho is sure starting to seem a lot like Sanders - a playmaker who goes at full intensity on every play, which means his smallish body will continually sustain nicks and scrapes - basically his body is not compatible with his playing style. Still, he has shown the ability to be a quality WLB, so I don't know if I'd sell high, but Hagler seems like a must own for Keiaho owners in dynasty leagues and redrafts with deep benches.
