Free agents at Pro Bowl? (1 Viewer)

Are there any free agents amongst the pro bowlers this year? If so, which other players might be "recriuting" them to their teams?

Thats why "recruit" was in quotation marks. Remember when McNabb was "recruiting" TO to come to the Eagles during the Pro Bowl? That's all I meant.

There's actually a picture in the Boston Herald today of Belichick talking to Adalius Thomas. Probably just a fluke but IMO he would be the biggest move the Pats could make this offseason (although it obviously won't be cheap).

Yeah, the coach of the team talking to a player of his team is news.

You're right, I'm sure they were knee deep in strategy because coaching is such a big part of the Pro Bowl. I'm sure there's been bedcheck all week as well.

Are you implying that Belichick is so anti-social that he would not talk to a player if it wasn't in the Patriots long-term plans?

I think you missed the bolded part
I initially thought I mistook what was said, but the reply after this suggests otherwise.

You did misunderstand what I said (I was simply pointing to a coincidence that happened to fit in with this topic) but the flukiness continues in today's Herald:I never really met Belichick before, and you always hear about how he’s a mean guy,” Baltimore linebacker Adalius Thomas said yesterday, prior to returned a fumble 70 yards for a score in the AFC’s 31-28 win. “But it’s real interesting to see how he reacts with different players, how he gets comfortable over here. He’s actually a really nice guy. I was surprised.”

As stated before this stuff probably means zip...yet, who knows, maybe the Pats were a team Thomas had no interest in but now does purely because BB coached in this game and was able to spend some time with him.
